Juventus selects new striker for the future

Juventus is always very active in the market and is monitoring various players in the center-forward position. Attention is focused on a possible free transfer
The Bianconeri management is constantly working on the transfer market to try to improve the deficiencies of the squad: after the injury of Bremer, Juve is looking for a central defender, but in the meantime attention is also focused on a player in the striker role to replace and give rest to Vlahovic.
In the Champions League away game against Lille, the club did not just enjoy a good game of football, but also took a peek at the opposition’s home: we are talking about Canadian forward Jonathan David, previously linked to Milan, who however, due to cost reasons, chose to focus on the profile of Gimenez from Feyenoord.
Juventus, idea David already in January
The Lille star born in 2000 was valued at around 50/60 million last summer, a figure definitely out of reach for Serie A teams. However, David’s contract expires in June 2025 and he is unlikely to renew with the French club. The ideal situation for Juventus would be to secure the player’s contract in the summer on a free transfer, if only the Canadian did not have half of Europe eyeing him.
For this reason, Giuntoli would even like to launch the attack as early as January, proposing an offer of between 20 and 30 million euros to Lille. If the Bianconeri actually decide to make the move, they would find themselves with two top-notch strikers at home, unless the potential acquisition of the Canadian leads to an early departure of Dusan Vlahovic.
