Juventus number 1 Mattia Perin was interviewed by Sky Sport, touching on topics such as winning the Serie A title.
Juventus, words by Mattia Perin
Serie A title?“There’s a good fight. Being inside and seeing how we work, for quality and not just quantity, I expected that we would compete with anyone. It’s a moment of growth for everyone, we are building something new and we need to digest a change. There are gray areas, but it’s those moments that, if faced in the right way, make you come out stronger as a team. We are ready for anything, to put ourselves on the line and even have a tough period, from which I am sure we will come out stronger. We could have done even better, but we are happy”
Locatelli?“We are very good friends with Manuel, we help each other in the locker room. National team? He deserved it before, he is playing at a very high level, in both phases but also emotionally and in behavior. He deserves it, things don’t happen by chance”

Leadership?”
I don’t like to call myself a leader alone, even though I am one of the most experienced. In that locker room, I have always learned from people who have an emotional structure that gives you chills. Looking back, I tried to be a sponge and learn as much as possible, first and foremost on a human level. And I am happy with how much I can give to young players today. In life, there comes a time when you have to absorb as much as possible to then give it back. Probably it’s the time in my career when I have to give back to others what they have given me. And I am happy about it”
Motta’s goalkeepers?“It is said that in football you play a lot and from a certain point of view it’s true. But if you manage to have a highly competitive squad, with twenty-three interchangeable players, you won’t have one player playing fifty games and others ten. In my opinion, you should aim for a maximum of thirty-five for one and twenty-five for the other. And it creates a competitive spirit that, if clean and fair, raises the level of everything”
Retirement thoughts?“No, not at this moment. I try to live in the present, to be the best version of myself. I don’t think about the future yet, but I have many passions and when I stop playing I will try to pursue one. But I haven’t set a job for myself yet: I love playing football and the locker room, the daily challenge”

No good news for Cagliari of Pisacane, who is coming off a home defeat against Bologna: injury for a defender.
The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. The Colombian suffered an injury in the match against Bologna in the last round and is now working separately to recover. His condition will be evaluated ahead of the next league match.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
