Former footballer Salvator Bagni has made statements to Il Corriere dello Sport regarding Napoli under Antonio Conte and more.
Former Napoli and Inter player Salvatore Bagni has spoken to Il Corriere Dello Sport, addressing various topics related to the club coached by Antonio Conte and key players of the team from Naples.
Napoli, Bagni’s Words

Below are the statements made by former footballer Salvatore Bagni to Il Corriere dello Sport.
“The field confirms it, when you see wingers like Politano or Kvaratskhelia defending like full-backs and then counter-attacking.
Perhaps in the offensive phase there is some struggle because they arrive tired on the other end and there is a significant expenditure of energy, but if you win for now, it’s fine. Today, facing Napoli is difficult for everyone, and even Inter has shown great respect.”
Focus on Neres, who wasn’t expected to have a bigger role.
“If you ask him to do the work of Politano or Kvaratskhelia, he struggles. The Brazilian can change the game in twenty minutes, but interestingly, starting against Lecce, he didn’t replicate the brilliant performances he has when coming on late.
At this moment, Conte needs players who can play all over the field. Also, last year at Benfica, Di Maria played often.”
Closing thoughts on Lukaku, Conte’s loyal player.
“Let’s remember that if Osimhen had left immediately, Lukaku would have arrived much earlier. Instead, he missed the summer preparation, so he is taking more time to get into shape.
He is currently behind, but he knows it, Conte knows it too, that’s why he always plays. He needs to find his match rhythm. For now, it’s fine, even with his goals, Napoli is in first place.”

Milan, good news from Nkunku: the Frenchman returns to the group

The Fiorentina has just released a statement regarding the situation at the Franchi stadium. Following the announcement from the Municipality of Florence, the club has issued a response.

Fiorentina, Franchi Stadium: The Club’s Statement
ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s statement from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality has provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays that are already expected by the end of 2026.
The Club can only express discontent and surprise considering the cooperation always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September this year.
Further possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which at the moment could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will need to be re-evaluated.
There is still great regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with previous interlocutors, which in 2019, President Commisso wanted to realize at his own expense, only to realize that this was never allowed.
The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that follow, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
