In Milan, the negative moment continues for Strahinja Pavlovic, not a regular starter for Fonseca and also struggling with the Serbian national team. With a far from impermeable Rossoneri defense, number 31 is called upon to raise his level to climb the hierarchy.

In the defense, which is certainly not flawless, of Milan 2024/2025, Strahinja Pavlovic is definitely one of the biggest disappointments. The Serbian, who arrived in the summer from Salzburg, was acquired to increase the height and weight of the backline.

A €18 million expenditure made to give Paulo Fonseca a new pillar, capable of growling at opponents and winning aerial battles against attackers. Expectations, at the moment, not fully met, as the Serbian has often stood out for his uncertainties. Not a sure thing, in short, for the Portuguese coach, who has often relegated him to the bench.

Last night, with his Serbian national team, he confirmed his difficulties. In five minutes, towards the end of the game, he received two yellow cards which earned him a red card.

The opportunity for redemption, however, is just around the corner, with Juventus in sight and the chance to convince Fonseca to trust him, against the Bianconeri attack, from minute 1.
