Udinese achieves record matchday and hospitality revenue reaching a record amount of 10 million euros.
As reported by Calcio e Finanza, Udinese has filed the financial statements for the 2023/2024 season. The Friulian club itself communicates this through a note, recording a loss of 11 million euros.
Udinese, statement on the financials
“Once again this year, the club’s accounts are fully virtuous, confirming, once again, the sustainability of the governance that, for over 30 years, has made the club a business model on the international scene. Udinese Calcio, in fact, despite an operating loss slightly higher than the previous year, certifies its financial and economic solidity thanks to revenue diversification, especially the Blueenergy Stadium asset. The net worth value stands at 112 million euros, emblematic of stability and virtuous management.”
“The most relevant economic value, Ebitda, is positive and amounts to 50 million euros. Also noteworthy is the Ebitda value net of the gains from the sale of players, which amounts to 13 million euros. The net value of multi-year player rights as of 06/30/2024 stands at 40 million, but the real market value of the squad at that date is assessable at 139,000,000 euros, a real value more than three times higher. The production value stands at 120 million euros, a slight decrease (-5%) compared to the previous year. This reduction is mainly due to player trading results, -13 million euros, which has been promptly balanced by other revenue sources that have recorded an overall increase of 6 million compared to the previous year’s figure: an unequivocal sign of Udinese’s ability to invest to generate new revenue sources that further strengthen the club.”
“In fact, in addition to commercial revenues, and matchday and hospitality revenues reaching a record amount of 10 million euros, the modernity of the Blueenergy Stadium allows for the organization of over 150 non-football events and national and local business conventions, guaranteeing new and significant revenues. The cost containment and rationalization policies constantly pursued by management have allowed for a production cost increase of 3% compared to the previous year. An increase mainly due to depreciations, particularly generated by the stadium and brand revaluation carried out in 2020 amounting to 8 million.”

The Fiorentina has just released a statement regarding the situation at the Franchi stadium. Following the announcement from the Municipality of Florence, the club has issued a response.

Fiorentina, Franchi Stadium: The Club’s Statement
ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s statement from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality has provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays that are already expected by the end of 2026.
The Club can only express discontent and surprise considering the cooperation always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September this year.
Further possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which at the moment could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will need to be re-evaluated.
There is still great regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with previous interlocutors, which in 2019, President Commisso wanted to realize at his own expense, only to realize that this was never allowed.
The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that follow, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
