Hellas Verona shines with loans: from Cissè to Lambourde

The summer transfer market has revolutionized Hellas Verona, which has sent some players on loan to Serie B to help them grow and blossom in the future.

These are operations carried out in a short time and with an advantageous formula, ensuring their return in June 2026. Among them, some players are standing out.

Hellas Verona, Cissé, Tavsan, and Lambourde impress everyone in Serie B

Some transfers made during the last transfer window are at risk of becoming true masterpieces thanks to the talent of the players involved that is flourishing more and more. The Serie B has always been a great stage for young players coming from the top category and looking for space to grow.

In this case as well, the trend is confirmed with three specific Gialloblu players: Alphadjo Cissé, Elayis Tavsan, and Mathis Lambourde.

The three are playing respectively for Catanzaro and Reggiana (the last two are teammates). What surprises and is surprising both fans of the two teams and those of Hellas Verona is the incredible performance that these players are offering.

For the first one, there are already 4 goals in the league in 9 total appearances, making him the top scorer of Calabria’s team so far. The midfielder born in 2006 is showing great personality and important ballistic skills, as one of these goals came directly from a free kick. His young age could be an opportunity for Hellas, which will probably integrate him into the squad at the end of the season unless there are irresistible offers.

As for the other two, they wear the same shirt and compete for the same spot in Coach Dionigi’s lineup. Often one replaces the other, but both have managed to score at least once. Tavsan is in his second season in Serie B after the season with Cesena, which ended with 4 goals and 3 assists in 28 games, while this time he has already scored 3 goals and 1 assist in 9 appearances. The relay with his teammate Lambourde doesn’t seem to scare him, on the contrary, it has spurred him to do even better.

Lastly, the French player arrived in Verona with the label of a potential star from Rennes, but in Serie A, he didn’t find much space although he managed to score his first goal in his debut against Como after just 7 minutes. In the Granata shirt, he has already made 5 appearances, with 2 goals to his name, and even started in the last match against Bari.

In short, three talents that are making a name for themselves in the Serie B and are almost ready for the big jump with the Gialloblu shirt. At the end of the season, they will all return to the base, and at that point, it will be up to Zanetti, or whoever, to decide whether to keep them and definitively launch them into the first team (regardless of the category) or loan them out again.

Tardelli’s speech did not stop there, but also touched on the theme of the club’s past leadership. He has re-evaluated the figure of Andrea Agnelli, emphasizing how the latter had a deep passion and love for Juventus. At a time when the club seems to be navigating choppy waters, Agnelli’s figure is seen by Tardelli as a positive reference point from the past.

Atalanta coach Ivan Juric spoke at a press conference on the eve of the Serie A match against Milan.

After the 1-1 draw against Cremonese on Saturday night, the Dea is preparing to face Milan at home tomorrow night for the midweek Serie A round. The hosts are in seventh place in the standings and are coming off four consecutive draws in the league against Juventus, Como, Lazio, and Cremonese. On the eve of the match, Ivan Juric spoke at a press conference at the Centro Bortolotti di Zingonia. Below are his statements.

Atalanta, Juric’s words

Atalanta

Tudor’s dismissal.

“I’m very sorry for Igor, because he is a man from Juve, serious and prepared. But unfortunately, it’s part of our job: sometimes, even when you work well, the results don’t come and everything becomes more complicated.”

The Carnesecchi case.

“Everything resolved. I am very satisfied with Carnesecchi. What I said after the game was misunderstood: maybe the way wasn’t right, but there was no malice. Now it’s just about starting over.”

A month of draws and few goals.

“The only thing missing is the goal. We are taking a lot of shots, more than our opponents, but it’s not enough. In Cremona, I only liked the second half: we built a lot, but we weren’t brilliant.”

Between injuries and returns.

Kolasinac is improving, I am happy with his progress, but he is not ready to play yet. For Scamacca, patience is needed: I would like to start him from the beginning, but we have to take it step by step and manage the timing carefully.”

Lookman and the hunger for goals.

“Only the goal is missing for Lookman. I see him very much part of the team, always available and with a great spirit of sacrifice. In the last three or four games, we created a lot, but we lacked effectiveness in front of goal. It’s something we need to improve on immediately.”

De Roon as a defensive wildcard.

“It’s not a surprise, he has the qualities to play as a center-back. Against Cremonese, he had to follow the midfielder, and he did it well. He is a player who always gives me balance.”

Unbeaten streak and prospects.

“I see an Atalanta team that has produced a lot but has not reaped what it deserves. We need to analyze with clarity: there have been injuries that have affected us, but the group has quality. I think of Krstovic, for example, who is growing a lot: he touches more balls, participates more in the play. It’s a sign that the work is paying off.”

Mentality above all.

“The most important thing is not to lose confidence. The unbeaten streak is a fact that gives solidity, but it should not become a limit. It takes courage to take risks and dare: this is what has made Atalanta great in recent years.”

Milan and the recipe for restarting.

“It’s a great team, built to win. We will have to contain them with attention and clarity, but without giving up our game. This team only lacks goals, everything else is there.”
