The Roma-Atalanta match of the 14th round of Serie A is about to start. Follow with us the most important moments of the match live.
A match that is shaping up to be the most difficult since Claudio Ranieri took over the reins of the Giallorossi is about to begin: Roma-Atalanta.
Let’s savor the key moments together.
Roma-Atalanta, the first half
The first half is about to start shortly.
2′ The first player to suffer a foul is Paulo Dybala;
4′ The first corner is taken by Retegui, but it ends up in the hands of Svilar;
5′ First chance for Roma with a shot by Paredes, and a great save by Carnesecchi;
6′ Roma’s first corner: the Argentine takes the shot again
10′ Obvious elbow on Dybala;
11′ Kolasinac brought down by Mancini;
13′ Chance for Roma, with Angelino’s cross not finding any of his teammates in front of the goal. Celik, however, keeps the ball alive on the other side;
14′ Chance for Roma with a beautiful long-range shot by Koné, but it misses the target;
17′ Dovbyk brought down by Hien;
21′ Lookman fouls Dybala: no booking;
24′ Lookman’s goal disallowed for offside!
28′ Cristante shoves Ederson: the Dea player calls for a yellow card that is not given;
30′ Atalanta chance with a shot by De Keteleare easily saved by Svilar;
31′ Roma chance, but Dovbyk slips in front of the goal;
32′ Atalanta chance with a header by Bellanova, but the ball misses the target;
34′ Another chance for the Dea: Retegui’s shot is short and easily saved by Svilar;
Roma drops back a lot but then manages to regain ground and move into the visitors’ half;
41′ Hummels prevents a potentially dangerous action initiated by Kossounou;
43′ Roma chance with Koné, but the ball ends up in the opponent’s hands;
44′ Dovbyk fouls Bellanova;
45′ The first half ends without added time at 0-0. So far, Roma has defended well, especially thanks to the interventions of Hummels and Svilar, and crossed often in front of the opponent’s goal thanks to Angelino’s actions.
In this first half, Atalanta has been a less formidable opponent than expected, with Lookman and Retegui being well contained by the Giallorossi defenders.
Roma, contrary to expectations, has had more goal-scoring opportunities than the visitors, with good shots (especially the first one by Paredes and the long-range one by Koné) that experienced the thrill of a goal by Lookman immediately disallowed for offside.
The second half will start shortly.
The second half
The second half begins without changes from both sides.
48′ Golden opportunity for Roma and for Dobvyk, promptly saved by Carnesecchi;
50′ Foul by Kolasinac on Dybala: a missed yellow card;
54′ Yellow card for Dybala for dissent;
Atalanta substitutions: Retegui and Ruggeri off, Cuadrado and Samardzic on;
57′ Tensions between De Roon and Dybala, then calmed down;
58′ Hummels saves on De Keteleare;
62′ Roma substitutions: Dovbyk off, Shomurodov on;
63′ Atalanta substitutions: De Keteleare and Lookman off, Brescianini and Zaniolo on;
65′ Dangerous ball for Atalanta that Shomurodov fails to reach;
67′ Completely wasted goal opportunity by Kolasinac;
69′ De Roon scores with a deflection off Celik: Atalanta takes the lead!
71′ Roma chance with a cross by Celik, which Shomurodov heads but goes wide;
72′ Roma substitutions: Celik off, Saelemaekers on;
74′ Hummels feels discomfort: replaced on the field by El Shaarawy;
76′ Great chance for Roma, with Dybala’s free-kick, Saelemaekers’ cross, but missed;
78′ Yellow card for Hien for a foul on Koné;
Roma substitutions: Cristante goes down injured: replaced by Zalewski.
Dybala also leaves the field and Soulé comes on.
80′ Corner awarded to Atalanta: Samardzic takes it;
83′ Atalanta substitutions: Kossounou off, Djimsiti on;
86′ Foul by Saelemaekers on Ederson;
Yellow card for Kolasinac
89′ Mancini saves the Giallorossi goal with a header;
Zaniolo, former Roma player, scores a goal! It comes from a corner taken by Ederson.
Roma tries to at least earn the satisfaction of breaching the opponent’s goal, but fails to convert chances into goals.
The final moments are in Atalanta’s half, with El Shaarawy receiving a yellow card.
The timid chants from the Curva Sud are not enough: Roma loses at home, a match that would have been a deserved draw.

Juventus, with Conte you can (re)build your identity

Ecco tutti i possibili nomi coinvolti.
