Sassuolo, with broken bones from San Siro but their minds are already on Sampdoria

Sassuolo, the run in the Coppa Italia has stopped, but the neroverdi are already focused on Sunday’s match against Sampdoria.
The sporting director Carnevali had hoped, on the eve, to openly play the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia against Milan.
However, the result was not exactly a display of balance. The Rossoneri, in fact, proved to be far superior, despite facing the Serie B leaders.
A partially revamped Sassuolo (Berardi, Thorstvedt, and Toljan on the bench at the start of the match) had to pick up four goals from their net in the first 23 minutes.
The goal by Mulattieri, thirty minutes from the end, reduced the deficit, although the final 6-1 scoreline remains more than disappointing for Fabio Grosso’s men.
Of the Serie B league leaders, with the declared goal of an immediate return to the national stage, in fact, not even a shadow was seen.
With this parenthesis closed, however, Sassuolo must lick its wounds quickly because on Sunday, Sampdoria will arrive at the Mapei Stadium.
Within the friendly walls of the Reggio stadium, we will see if last night’s defeat has left any traces on the legs of the neroverdi players.

Cremonese vs Cosenza: Probable Lineups and Where to Watch
For the 22nd day of Serie B, Cremonese and Cosenza will also take the field at the Zini stadium. The match will be played tomorrow at 3:00 PM. Below is the preview of the match, the probable lineups, and where to watch it.
Cremonese and Cosenza are experiencing completely opposite situations, facing each other tomorrow for a match that both teams need to win.
The grigiorossi, in the last few matches, have closed the gap from the third place, currently held by Spezia, now six points ahead. Stroppa’s men want to continue their push towards direct promotion.
A different situation for the Calabrians, who are certainly not going through a good moment, being at the bottom of the table and with three defeats in the last five matches.
Cremonese is on a high after the 3-0 win against Frosinone, and they are aiming for three points against a struggling Cosenza.
Stroppa, after two assists in Ciociaria, will likely confirm Vandeputte in midfield and the duo Bonazzoli-Vazquez up front. The defense remains unchanged, with Ceccherini, Antov, and Bianchetti in front of Fulignati.
In Cremona, they will also be chasing a much-needed victory, after missing out against Sassuolo and Mantova.
Alvini would be at risk in case of a negative result, and he cannot avoid fielding an offensive formation, where Artistico and Rizzo Pinna should find space up front, assisted by Mazzocchi. Four midfielders, Ricciardi, Charlys, Florenzi, and D’Orazio, in front of a defense composed of Venturi, Sgarbi, and Caporale. Micai will be confirmed in goal.
Probable lineups:
Cremonese (3-5-2): Fulignati, Bianchetti, Antov, Ceccherini; Collocolo, Pickel, Castagnetti, Vandeputte, Barbieri; Vazquez, Bonazzoli. Coach: Giovanni Stroppa
Cosenza (3-4-1-2): Micai; Venturi, Sgarbi, Caporale; Ricciardi, Charlys, Florenzi, D’Orazio; Mazzocchi, Rizzo Pinna; Artistico. Coach: Massimiliano Alvini.
Where to watch:
Cremonese-Cosenza, scheduled tomorrow at 3:00 PM, will be available on the Dazn app and on the LaB Channel, an option active for a few weeks on Amazon Prime.
