Inter, the overwhelming victory over Lazio reaffirms the Nerazzurri’s strong candidacy for the Serie A title and sends a message to Atalanta and Napoli.

Without beating around the bush, the clash between Lazio and Inter provided a strong and clear answer: the Nerazzurri are firmly in the race for the title.

The label of defending champions is not enough for Inzaghi’s team, who showed at the Olimpico, on the pitch, that they intend to participate in the race wholeheartedly.

After the successes of Atalanta and Napoli, Inter respond with three crucial points, against a formidable opponent.

The 0-6 result clearly showed one of the fundamental characteristics of Inzaghi’s Inter: making something incredibly difficult look easy.

Until the end of the first half, the match was wide open. In the early stages of the second half, the Nerazzurri closed the deal, with knockout blows from the main protagonists.

Lazio, on the ropes, abdicated despite a promising start to the match.

Perhaps this last aspect should worry their opponents: the ability to reverse the momentum of a match that started with difficulties.

The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. The Colombian suffered an injury in the match against Bologna in the last round and is now working separately to recover. His condition will be evaluated ahead of the next league match.
