Napoli, the great performances of David Neres are gradually changing the hierarchies in attack.

David Neres is becoming the unexpected protagonist of Napoli under Antonio Conte. However, the future of Napoli’s attacking department could be influenced by market dynamics. Among them, persistent rumors of interest in Federico Chiesa, struggling at Liverpool, and the complex negotiations for the renewal of Kvaratskhelia’s contract.

The Georgian, whose contract expires in 2027, currently earns 1.5 million euros annually. While Napoli offers an adjustment to 6 million plus bonuses, the player’s entourage aims for 10 million, encouraged by interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Discussions also include the possible inclusion of a release clause, which could further influence future scenarios.

The Fiorentina has just released a statement regarding the situation at the Franchi stadium. Following the announcement from the Municipality of Florence, the club has issued a response.

New developments on the construction site at the Franchi stadium after the Municipality announced further delays and that the works will not be completed in time for the club’s centenary.

Fiorentina, Franchi Stadium: The Club’s Statement

ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s statement from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality has provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays that are already expected by the end of 2026.

The Club can only express discontent and surprise considering the cooperation always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September this year.

Further possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which at the moment could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will need to be re-evaluated.

There is still great regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with previous interlocutors, which in 2019, President Commisso wanted to realize at his own expense, only to realize that this was never allowed.

The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that follow, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
