La Fiorentina wins at the Olimpico, Lazio defeated

As we approach the end of January, there is still no precise date set for the rescheduling of Fiorentina-Inter. Much will depend on Inter’s European commitments.
The rescheduling of Fiorentina–Inter, interrupted last December due to the illness suffered by Edoardo Bove, remains uncertain. Serie A is working to find a suitable slot, but the busy schedule of national and European fixtures for both teams involved makes the decision particularly complex.

Fiorentina-Inter, will it be played in February?
Among the more concrete dates for the rescheduling of the remaining 72 minutes of the match, Wednesday, February 5th stands out. This possibility seems the best on paper, as neither team will have midweek commitments.
The choice of February 5th, however, is not without its challenges: the match would come just four days before the return fixture, scheduled for Sunday, February 9th at San Siro. Furthermore, it is a very close date and would require an imminent official decision.
Other hypotheses on the table include February 12th or 19th, dates that coincide with the Champions League playoffs, for which it is not yet known if Inter will participate. Simone Inzaghi’s men are on the verge of direct qualification to the round of 16, but the mathematics are still pending, which could also come with a draw away to Monaco on Wednesday.

The risk of another postponement
If the February 5th date is not confirmed, the resumption of the match could face another delay. Serie A still needs to find space for Bologna-Milan, another pending fixture, and will have to consider the outcome of the European journey of both teams.
In a much more critical scenario, the rescheduling could be postponed until May 21st, or even after the end of the season, as was the case last year for Atalanta-Fiorentina. The uncertainty in the schedule highlights how difficult it is to find solutions compatible with the numerous Serie A, Coppa Italia, and continental tournament commitments.
Therefore, the official decision remains pending, which will be communicated by Serie A in the coming days, taking into account the needs of the teams and the necessary timing to manage an increasingly congested schedule.

Lazio, good news: Rovella shortens recovery time

Good news for the unlucky Lazio of Maurizio Sarri: Nicolò Rovella is recovering optimally from pubalgia – early return anticipated?
The Lazio coach can finally smile. One of his most important players, Rovella, is showing great improvements. The midfielder is recovering from pubalgia by choosing to undergo conservative therapy rather than surgery, which would have kept him out for a longer period. So far, his choice seems to be paying off: his physical condition is significantly improving.

When will Rovella return to Lazio?
If things continue in this way, Nicolò Rovella could return to the field even before the November break. Initially, his reintroduction was scheduled for the middle of next month, but given the improvement in the situation, an early recovery is now likely. Of course, the midfielder will not be available for the match against Juventus in the next Serie A round, but he will be evaluated for the subsequent matches.

No good news for Cagliari of Pisacane, who is coming off a home defeat against Bologna: injury for a defender.
The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. The Colombian suffered an injury in the match against Bologna in the last round and is now working separately to recover. His condition will be evaluated ahead of the next league match.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
