We need to maintain our performance. Market? I’m focused on the game

Below are the statements made by Hellas Verona coach Paolo Zanetti in a press conference ahead of the match against Monza:
“The most important thing by far is the match, we need to build on the performance against Venezia, our focus should solely be on the match without getting distracted by anything else.”
“Belahyane has trained well and is available for the match, he is a cool-headed young player focused on the game, I have no concerns about him. As for Tengstedt, there are no fractures but we have lost him for 30-40 days and we will need to make assessments in this regard.”
“I have solutions, many players are waiting to play and are ready, we are making evaluations, I like to play with two strikers but this does not exclude other formations.”
Is it more difficult to replace Belahyane or Tchatchoua?
“Both are difficult to replace, finding another player with the speed of Tchatchoua is not easy, as for Belahyane, he is wanted by important teams because he has exceptional ball control at his age despite not having great physicality but you wouldn’t notice that. The important thing is to bring in players who are hungry and fully committed to our cause.”
Oyegoke and Niasse coming in?
“Oyegoke is a player with great desire, we need players who are willing to fight, he is a fullback with good pace, not as fast as Tchatchoua but quick, he is a player who provides us with an important alternative, he is used to playing in a physical league and can be a great help.
Regarding Niasse, it’s not official yet but he is a player with several appearances in the Champions League, he has height, physical presence, covers ground, can intercept, good in the air, different from the players we have now and can complement the squad.”
How important is the match against Monza?
“They are an opponent with quality and they showed it in the first leg by inflicting a heavy defeat on us despite our good performance, it’s a tough match but we knew that, at this moment all matches are significant for everyone. We need to be fully engaged because it will be a battle.”
The team’s morale?
“In the last 6-7 matches, we have only faltered against Lazio, I have been pleased with all the other performances, we are maintaining a certain trend that needs to be confirmed tomorrow, I expect a significant maturity from the team, the team is marked and we need to move forward in this regard.”
Leadership transition in this team, is Ghilardi becoming important?
“Ghilardi had a complete season at Sampdoria last year gaining experience, initially he could have been seen as a player who might leave in the transfer market but I pushed to keep him.
At the moment, he aims to be a technical leader, speaking less and doing more, he is clearly valued and sought after because he is a complete central defender who is currently playing out of position as a left center-back and doing it excellently, when working with young players, the goal is for them to flourish, in this sense, I have believed a lot in him, in Coppola, in Belahyane, in Cissè, who is another player the club sees as potential for the future”
Dawidowicz or Daniliuc against Monza?
“It’s a decision I will make at the last moment, Daniliuc did very well at Venezia although Dawidowicz is an important player for us, there are two or three situations to consider, I would like whoever I choose to give me some answers.”
The transfer market?
“I believe in continuing to work on the field, of course, we want to keep good and important players, but if there are financial needs and irresistible offers then it’s not up to me to make decisions but we definitely want to keep the best.”
Duda?
“Appeals are difficult to win, I regret losing such an important player for three matches, he also admits that he did things that he shouldn’t have, on the other hand, he felt he was penalized excessively for what he did on the field, we are all human and we make mistakes.”
Cissè and Lambourde?
“These are players who were brought in for a different style of play, Lambourde might fit in better, they are very young players born in 2005 or 2006, when some players are absent, it might create more opportunities for them but they are players we need to consider for a future path. Another player is Sishuba who we might send out on loan.”

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A league against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.”
“The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who must recover from a strain in the muscles of his left thigh, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.”

Juventus, a year ago was destined to leave Turin, today is one of Tudor’s certainties. The choice of the management to renew him has become a sign of continuity and trust.
Just a year ago Daniele Rugani seemed to be saying goodbye to Juventus. Like it happened to Huijsen, Soulé and partly to Federico Chiesa, for him too the club had drawn a clear line: those who did not fit into Thiago Motta’s technical plans were invited to find a new placement. But the fate of the Tuscan defender took a different turn.
Despite having a contract expiring eight months from the end of the season, the Juventus management decided to exercise the unilateral renewal clause for another year, a clear sign of trust. Despite everything, Rugani has proven to be a reliable, serious, and professional player, earning a leading role in a team still in search of balance.
Juventus, Tudor’s few certainties
In a complicated moment for the defense and more generally for Igor Tudor’s Juventus, number 24 represents a technical and moral certainty, a symbol of belonging and continuity. The club, which a year ago seemed ready to turn the page, has instead decided to focus on a player who knows the environment, accepts hierarchies, and knows how to be ready when needed.
In short, after almost ten years in black and white, Rugani has returned to being more than just a backup!
