Udinese’s Pafundi: “Runjaic believes in me a lot: he has brought serenity to the group”

Udinese: Simone Pafundi, trequartista classe 06′, in questa stagione con la maglia bianconera ha collezionato 2 presenze in serie A.

Cresciuto nel settore giovanile friulano, il talento di origini napoletane è tornato all’Udinese dopo il prestito per 18 mesi a Losanna nel campionato svizzero.

Il trequartista dell’under 21 italiana si è subito messo a disposizione di mister Runjaic che vuole lavorare sul calciatore per inserirlo il prima possibile nelle rotazioni della squadra.

Udinese, Pafundi parla del rapporto con Runjaic

Il giovane calciatore ha parlato in un’intervista a TV 12 dove ha parlato del suo rientro in squadra, del rapporto con il tecnico e dove lo sta provando all’interno della squadra, ecco le sue parole:

“A Napoli abbiamo fatto una grande partita, il mister ci ha caricato in settimana e noi ci tenevamo di far qualcosa di grande per lui e i nostri tifosi.

Dal mio ritorno in squadra ho trovato molta serenità rispetto a quando sono partito, il merito sicuramente è del mister. Mi ha parlato molto, ha molta fiducia nelle mie qualità e sono contento di questo. Abbiamo un bel rapporto e sento di poter essere importante per la squadra.

Il mister mi sta provando nei tre in mezzo a centrocampo, sulle fasce oppure da seconda punta, mi piace molto sperimentare nuovi ruoli rispetto al mio da trequartista perché mi permette di crescere e di diventare un calciatore più completo”.

New developments on the construction site of the Franchi stadium after the Municipality announced that further delays are expected and the works will not be completed in time for the club’s centenary.

ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s note from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays expected by the end of 2026.

The Club can only express dissatisfaction and surprise given the willingness it has always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September of this year.

Further and possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will have to be re-evaluated.

There is still immense regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with the previous interlocutors, which President Commisso wanted to finance in 2019 but then had to realize that it was never allowed.

The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that arise, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
