Milan-Feyenoord, probable lineups and where to watch

Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke at a press conference on the eve of Milan-Feyenoord. The Senior Advisor of RedBird for AC Milan touched on many topics.
Tomorrow the Rossoneri will be playing for a spot in the round of 16 of the Champions League and they must overturn the result of the first leg to progress.
Milan, Ibrahimovic’s words
Fans crucial tomorrow…
“It’s a rare situation that I am here, the coach is returning from Portugal. For tomorrow: our fans are important, their fans pushed a lot in Rotterdam. But I am confident that tomorrow with 80,000 Milanisti in the stadium and those around the world will give their maximum support to the team, which will then have to take this energy to do the best possible.”
What explanation do you give for these ups and downs of Milan?
“Low moments come. Being at the top every day is not easy, but in the long run, you have to work on it; we are working on mentality, on team things. Even in non-wow moments, then that mentality comes out. I talk to the players every day, we try to find solutions, but there shouldn’t be too much information: if you talk to the players every day, in the end things don’t sink in. It’s like telling your wife you love her every day, but you have to show it with actions.”
What does the team need to do tomorrow?
“Focused, aggressive, concrete. They must enter with a final mentality. It is important to play well, but it is more important to win. We need to get a result to progress. We are down by one goal, we need to get a result to progress. Everyone needs to push their teammate and make them focused. It is a collective thing that starts with some individuality. Even those on the bench need to push, it is all connected to the collective. This is what makes a group and a team.”

Tomorrow’s game is also decisive for the club.
“For me personally important, because I am a winner and I want to win. I want to bring results. I am not someone who tries to do things well that do not remain in history, but the opposite: I try to make a difference to write history. To make history, you have to win. This is Milan. If you look at the history of the Champions League, Milan has written history. And we want to continue. We push from the outside, we help.”
Is Gimenez on the right track?
“We expect a lot from the new ones. Joao Felix can do even more. Gimenez is the one who can grow and become even stronger. Then there are Bondo and Sottil who can still grow. The club expects a lot from the new ones. I have already told them to take space, because we cannot wait: they must come in immediately and shift the balance. That’s what we’re doing.
Galliani always used to say: ‘Players should only think about football, we’ll take care of the rest.’ That’s what we do. We missed Gimenez, for the quality in front of the goal, he’s a killer, but he also has to run, because with the coach if you don’t run, you don’t play. He has to be like in the last game: be there at the right moment. A ball can come from anywhere, even from Maignan, and he has to be ready and focused.”
Are you a mental coach?
“I am a backup for everything, I am a reserve. Jokes aside: the coach is not here, he had a personal bereavement. I am helping Milan.”

You are often seen close to the team…
“I was also there in the summer at the new signings’ press conferences. With Fonseca, we talked every day, we were present at Milanello. We are doing it now too. Today is a rare situation, as after Verona. Nothing has changed, we are all working.”
Most dangerous opponent in the Champions League?
“Things change every week. We are focused on ourselves. Every game is a final for us, like tomorrow. In my opinion, those ahead of us, everyone is doing everything to reach the quarterfinals. It will be a battle to the end.”
Are you talking to Real about Jimenez?
“In the summer I said he would be Theo’s backup, then with patience, he arrived. There is a buy-back clause, but we have a good relationship with Real. There are no discussions today. There are Camarda, Jimenez, Bartesaghi, Torriani, Zeroli at Monza, Cuenca at Genoa, Stalmach in Germany, Liberali made his debut: this is our strategy. I’m sorry he’s not on the Champions League list, next year he will be.”
How is the ownership approaching this appointment?
“We talk every day with Cardinale: he is very involved, charged, he wants success with Milan. He gives strength to everyone, he gives confidence.”

Is there adrenaline in Theo?
“These moments are special. It’s all about one game. Everyone has their approach to do their best. I was more focused, I didn’t need superstitions or other things: I had confidence. Theo is no longer a kid. He was when I arrived, now he has grown and is one of the best in the world. He knows what he needs to do to bring out the best. He needs to find the trigger point to reach a high level. And this as a player is difficult. You have to find that button to charge yourself. Everyone said I was always angry, but it was to charge myself.”
Should Leao return to defense?
“Everyone talks about Leao, everyone tells him how to play. He is one of the best in the world. So he knows how to play. You can tell him tactically where to be, you can push him to run more, but it’s all tactical stuff. How he should play is not explained: he explains it. He is himself and is one of the best players in the world. Rest assured, Leao knows what he’s doing.”
Tomorrow without Italians.
“We have looked for Italians, only we have not been able to close. We got Sottil. We want Italian players, but every situation is different. We try to bring the best players to Milan. When you are at Milan, no one has a guaranteed spot, there is always someone next to you who can take your place. And if there isn’t, then we bring them from the outside, Italian or foreign. We look for profiles that can fit at Milan. There are many great players, but when you play in front of 80,000 people it’s different.
I have seen many players who couldn’t play at Milan, then went to other places and did well. When you are at Milan, you have to bring results. That’s why Milan players become legends: because they bring results and trophies. We have eyes on many Italians, but as you say the Italian market is different. But we are not afraid, if it’s right we do it.”

After the matches of the various national championships are archived, the Champions League returns with an interesting Bayern Munich-Club Brugge.
Bavarians in great form with 11 wins in as many games. Mister Kompany leaning towards confirming the offensive duo Jackson-Kane. On the other side, Brugge relies heavily on the creativity of the Italo-German Tresoldi.

Bayern Munich Here
The Bayern Munich is a powerhouse. An incredible start to the season for the German team, with 11 wins in as many games. In front of 75,000 fans at the Fußball Arena München, for a match valid for the third day of the UEFA Champions League, come the Belgians of Club Brugge.
The Bavarians can count on an attacking department with 40 goals scored so far. Top player of the season start Harry Kane, scoring in the last 9 matches between league and National team. Absent from the match for the Bavarians are Davies, Ito, Musiala, and Stanisic.
However, as the main striker, Nicolas Jackson should play instead of Kane (likely to drop back behind the former Chelsea player). While on the wings, Olise and Luis Diaz should find space. In midfield, Kimmich is a sure starter, while the other midfield spot is a toss-up between Aleksandar Pavlovic (favored) and Goretzka. In defense, in front of Manuel Neuer, there should be Upamecano and Tah as center-backs and Boey and Laimer as full-backs.
Club Brugge Here
On the other hand, the Belgians’ journey cannot be said to be excellent. In fact, the team coached by Mister Hayen in the first two Champions League matches stands out for the overwhelming 4-1 victory against Monaco, but also for the defeat from a winning position against Atalanta of Ivan Juric.
The Belgian team will still try to pull off a surprise, relying mainly on their center-forward Nicolò Tresoldi. On the sides of the 2004 class player, the wingers Forbs and Tzolis should play, while in midfield, the playmaker role should be entrusted to Vanaken.
In the crucial area, coach Hayen should field Alexander Stankovic, son of Dejan, and Cisse Sandra. In defense, the center-backs should be Ordonez and Mechele, supported by the full-backs Sabbe and Seys. In goal, due to the absence of Mignolet through injury, Jackers is confirmed.
Bayern Munich-Club Brugge: probable lineups
Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Boey, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Kane, Diaz; N. Jackson. Coach: Kompany.
Club Brugge (4-3-3): Jackers; Sabbe, Ordonez, Mechele, Seys; Sandra, A. Stankovic, Vanaken; Forbs, Tresoldi, Tzolis. Coach: Hayen.

Eintracht Frankfurt-Liverpool, probable line-ups

Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool will face off tomorrow night at the Deutsche Bank Park for the 3rd matchday of the Champions League League Phase.
The 3rd matchday of the Champions League sees Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool facing each other. A match that promises excitement, especially considering the great offensive capabilities of the home team. Six goals scored and conceded by the team coached by Dino Toppmoller in the first two European games of the season, resulting in two 5-1 results: the home win against Galatasaray, and the defeat suffered against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.
On the other side, there are the Reds, who are going through a very negative period. Counting all competitions, Arne Slot’s team is coming off four consecutive defeats, including the one suffered in the Champions League against Galatasaray. A streak for Liverpool that hadn’t happened in 11 years. The lack of contribution from new signings Wirtz and Isak is under scrutiny.
Eintracht Frankfurt
The home team is coming off an away draw against Freiburg in the Bundesliga. Despite facing one of the European football giants, albeit in difficulty, Toppmoller doesn’t seem to want to give up on fielding an ultra-offensive lineup. Frankfurt relies on its talented midfield, composed of Uzun, Doan, and Bahoya. The only absentee is midfielder Oscar Hojlund, brother of Napoli’s forward.
Liverpool
A few more changes are expected in Liverpool’s lineup. Arne Slot is looking for the right solution to get out of the crisis. Against Eintracht, the Reds will have to do without goalkeeper Alisson and Ryan Gravenberch due to a hip problem. Jones is the favorite to replace the Dutchman. Some changes are also expected in defense, with Robertson and Joe Gomez ready to take the place of Kerkez and Konaté. In attack, Slot is ready to relaunch the former player of the match, Hugo Ekitike. The Frenchman is favored over Isak to lead the Reds’ attack.
Probable Lineups
Eintracht Frankfurt (4-2-3-1): Santos; Kristensen, Koch, Theate, Brown; Skhiri, Chaibi; Doan, Uzun, Bahoya; Burkardt. Coach: Toppmoller.
Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Mamardashvili; Bradley, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Ekitike. Coach: Slot.
Where to Watch
The Champions League match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool will be broadcast exclusively on Sky Sport and streamed live on NOW starting at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
