Como’s sporting director Ludi speaks in an interview about Napoli, their agreement for Marin, and their own players. Here are the statements.
In recent days, Como’s sporting director Carlalberto Ludi was interviewed on Radio Kiss Kiss and made many interesting statements regarding his players Nico Paz and Assane Diao, as well as the special relationship between Como and Napoli.
About the twenty-year-old midfielder Nico Paz, he stated:
“He is absolutely a champion project, not yet because he needs to improve in some aspects, but he is undoubtedly a super modern footballer with an attitude and humility that make him remain the great worker he is. We hope to keep him with us as much as possible.”
As for the new Como striker Assane Diao, who arrived in the team on January 4 and has already scored four goals, the sporting director shows enthusiasm, announcing:
“For us, it’s extraordinary. We have a working group that works with me in an extraordinary way, a coach who knows how to enhance players and also the rest of the team. We have the courage and the strength to invest, it’s true, but we are also able to create the right space for everyone and enhance them.”
He then added: “When Diao scored the first goal, he had just arrived, but for him, it was as if he had been here for three months, that’s our strength.”
Ludi talks about the relationship between Como and Napoli
Later in the interview, Ludi addressed the news of the failed transfer from Napoli to Como of Rafa Marin, responding:
“I think it would have been a win-win situation, both for us and for Napoli. Here he would have found more space, so the blues would have seen their player enhanced, while we could have found a young man who certainly has many qualities. Then it is obvious that the market makes very complicated turns and we respected Napoli’s choice to keep him since they hadn’t closed for a defender and there was no longer a chance for his departure.”
The Radio Kiss Kiss interview ended with a small confession from the sporting director regarding Napoli:
“With Napoli it will be a very complicated game because we meet the top of the table, there is not only respect but also a hint of fear. However, we must have our certainties, even courage, because we know it will be very complicated but we will try until the end. Beer for Napoli’s fans? A beautiful idea and intuition of our president, he will take care of it because he cares a lot about welcoming the visiting fans.”

No good news for Cagliari of Pisacane, who is coming off a home defeat against Bologna: injury for a defender.
The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. The Colombian suffered an injury in the match against Bologna in the last round and is now working separately to recover. His condition will be evaluated ahead of the next league match.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
