Lecce, Krstovic returns to Milan – Football style

The Serie A is considering a complete rebranding that should lead to the construction of many new football stadiums. And it’s not just about prestigious clubs.

In addition to the well-known projects to modernize the stadiums of Inter and Milan, as well as the recent approval for the construction of the new stadium for Roma by the Mayor Roberto Gualtieri. There will be many new constructions or modernizations of existing stadiums in Serie A.

Serie A remains at the bottom in terms of restructuring or constructing city stadiums. Certainly, Italian clubs have not had the same financial resources as European teams such as Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United to name a few.

Italy has invested little but has paid in terms of final revenues because investing in a stadium also means investing in the club’s merchandising and allowing for extra earnings.

Serie A Wants to Look Beautiful

If the construction has already been approved for some stadiums, as in the case of the new Roma stadium in Pietralata, it’s different for other cities and their clubs: in fact, Milan is in a stalemate because it is under investigation by the TAR and, therefore, it is uncertain whether San Siro stadium will be renovated or there will be two new stadiums.

While Milan’s stadium is among the most impressive in Serie A, building the 4th ring seems to be difficult due to urbanistic and landscape constraints. So, Milan would consider building its own stadium in the San Donato Milanese area (with a surrounding club city with a museum, store, and headquarters). A 70,000-seat stadium.

Meanwhile, on the Inter side (home of Inter), they could consider building their own stadium (also with 70,000 seats) in the Rozzano area.

So both would decrease in capacity but would have new structures created specifically for fans and merchandising.

But there are also stadium redevelopments for Fiorentina and Bologna where a slight decrease in capacity is expected, but with the total coverage of the stadiums and the creation of areas designed to entertain fans.

In essence, what would it mean if Serie A teams had new stadiums? If we look at the values of foreign clubs that have already undergone rebranding, we can see that they have literally doubled the revenues from individual matches.

In this aspect, Juventus sets an example in Serie A because with the transition to the new stadium, their revenues increased from 10.1 to 27.4 million (approximately). Not too shabby!

Gattuso has the right spirit for the National Team. I hoped Pioli would do well at Fiorentina. As for Milan…

AS Roma, under Gasperini, currently sits at the top of the table. In the upcoming matchday against the big teams of the league, they have the easiest game and want to stay at the top.

The Serie A resumes with the standings as they were left: Roma and Inter side by side at 24 points, Napoli and Milan just below at 22, followed by Bologna and Juventus at 21 and 19 respectively.

In the next matchday, there could be significant changes given the numerous direct clashes at the top of the table. Spalletti’s team will travel to Florence, Conte’s team will host the new Atalanta led by Palladino, and the Sunday will end with the Milan derby.

Therefore, someone at the top could lose points, and the team that could take advantage of this matchday is definitely Roma.

The Giallorossi will be playing away against Cremonese, in a tough and far from easy match, but on paper, Gasperini’s boys are clearly favored.

Roma Needs Cynicism in Cremona to Bring Home 3 Points

Roma will take the field on Sunday at 3:00 PM.

In front of them will be the team led by Davide Nicola, a solid team, well-organized, and equipped with players of great talent. Cremonese has shown in this early part of the season, aside from the slip against Inter, that they can compete openly with everyone and have also troubled many top teams.

Gasperini’s team needs to play their game without paying attention to external pressures related to their top position in the standings. Roma, on paper, has all the right cards to bring home the 3 points, but in the end, it’s the field that speaks, and it will take a game of great quality and cynicism to achieve the goal.

Winning in Cremona would be really important for the Giallorossi, as they would approach the direct clash against Napoli at the Olimpico as the leaders in the standings and with the upper hand.

We will see how the coach decides to approach the match and if the team will succeed in completing the set task successfully.

Serie A: Three Decisive Matches in the 12th Round

Published

The 12th round of Serie A offers three very important matches: on Saturday there will be Fiorentina-Juventus and Napoli-Atalanta, on Sunday the Inter-Milan derby.

Juventus aims to continue its growth and demonstrate that it can become competitive again, and it can do so on the field against Fiorentina.

However, Fiorentina always plays with great intensity at home and wants to take advantage of the opportunity to stop Juventus and earn valuable points.

Napoli faces Atalanta in a match that could say a lot about the ambitions of both teams. The Neapolitans seek confirmation after a fluctuating period and know that a victory can put them back in the running for the top spot.

Atalanta arrives with the desire to react, and this match could be a turning point: if they play without fear, they can create many difficulties for Napoli, but another misstep could complicate their season.

The derby between Inter and Milan is the central match of the day. Inter wants to confirm its strength and use the game to extend its lead over other contenders. Milan, on the other hand, sees the derby as an opportunity to change pace, regroup, and relaunch its ambitions.

In a match like this, motivation is as important as quality. A victory in the derby can completely change the week and the mood of a team.

These three matches of the 12th round of Serie A will be very important to understand the state of the teams. Juventus must play well to come back stronger. Napoli must win to stay among the top teams. The Inter-Milan derby will be decisive: the winner gains confidence, the loser gets discouraged. In general, it will be a day of exciting matches where anything can happen.
