Among the challenges of the Champions League round of 16 return matches is the one between Aston Villa and Club Brugge. The match will take place tomorrow evening at 9:00 PM.

The path seems downhill for Aston Villa who, at home, will defend the 1-3 lead obtained in Belgium.

The Club Brugge, on the other hand, to secure qualification, would need to win by at least three goals.

In case of a 0-2 victory, or with a margin of less than two goals, the match will go to extra time and potentially penalties.

The English team secured a good victory in the first leg match in Belgium, giving them a relative sense of security.

Meanwhile, last weekend the Villans defeated Brentford, preparing well for this important match.

Despite a significant lead, Unai Emery sticks to his 4-2-3-1 formation.

The only unavailable player is the injured Barkley, while Asencio is in doubt.

Dibu Martinez guards the goal, with Disasi, Konsa, Mings and Digne in the defensive line.

Kamara and Tielemans are likely to start in midfield, just behind the trio of attacking midfielders Bailey-Rogers-Rashford.

Finally, the weight of the attack will be on Watkins.

An uphill battle awaits the Belgians, who must overturn the 1-3 home defeat from the first leg.

In the meantime, the black-and-blues won the league derby against Cercle Brugge, gaining confidence for tomorrow evening’s match.

Like Aston Villa, Club Brugge will also play with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Mignolet is the chosen goalkeeper, with Sabbe, Ordonez, Mechele and De Cuyper forming the defensive line.

In midfield, Onyedika partners with Jashari, with Taibi, Vanaken and Tzolis supporting Jutgla.
