Domenico Berardi, forward for Sassuolo, gave an interview to Sky regarding the current situation, position, and merits within the team.

Sassuolo-Berardi Interview
Berardi’s statements made live on Sky’s microphones:
“Last year was not a good season for me or the team. I got injured and we were relegated, and from there it was all uphill. We worked hard to bring Sassuolo back where it deserves. Now we are in Serie A, we are all happy, but we want to finish the season on a high note – he continues – I have spent many years here, for me it is a home, a family. They treated me like a son. Twelve years ago I was a kid, now I have grown up and become a man. I made mistakes in the past, but I have matured and I owe a lot to this club.”
The injury?
“It was a tough few months, but I came out even stronger. I worked hard to bring Sassuolo back where it deserves, and today we enjoy it.”
Grosso?
“The coach has adapted to the role greatly. We all got along with him very well, and even in managing the group, he was top-notch. He brought great playing ideas, made us all feel important. The group makes the difference, and this year we have shown it.”
The National Team?
“The passion for the national team has always been inside me, it is and will be there. I went through difficult times, but now I am recovering. You can’t say no to the Azzurri shirt.”
Am I the last remaining flag?
“It is definitely gratifying and makes me proud to be the flag of such an important club. More than a club, I call it a family. And I feel good in a family.”

The 8th round of Serie B sees Sampdoria-Frosinone facing off: the blucerchiati are in second to last place in the standings, while the ciociari are in 3rd place.
The 8th round of Serie B sees Sampdoria-Frosinone facing off: the blucerchiati are coming from a 3-1 defeat against Entella, while the ciociari are coming from a defeat against Monza by 1-0.

Sampdoria
The Sampdoria are coming from a 3-1 defeat against Entella, a defeat in the Ligurian derby that cost Massimo Donati his job, who was replaced by Gregucci and Foti, with the goal once again being to achieve salvation. For the blucerchiati, the script of last year is repeating itself, nullifying the summer proclamations that this year would be a real fresh start. Unfortunately, they have to face reality, as a tough opponent awaits at the Ferraris, with Frosinone being the third force in the standings.
Coaches Gregucci and Foti will field a 3-4-2-1 with a defense composed of Riccio, Hadzikadunic and A. Ferrari; midfield formed by Depaoli, Abildgaard, Ricci and Ioannou; the lone striker will be Coda with Barak and Cuni supporting.
Frosinone
The Frosinone are coming from a 1-0 defeat against Monza, the second defeat for the ciociari after the one against Venezia, but despite everything, they are in third place in the standings, 2 points behind Palermo and 4 points behind Modena at the top of the Serie B table. Coach Alvini’s team can aim high this year, after struggling last season. For a team hungry for victory, the match against Sampdoria is a good opportunity to try to secure all 3 points.
The ciociari coach will field a 4-3-2-1 with a defense composed of Depaoli, Abildgaard, Ricci and Ioannou; midfield formed by Calò, Koutsoupias and Grosso; the lone striker will be Raimondo with Ghedjemis and Masciangelo supporting.
Sampdoria-Frosinone probable lineups
Sampdoria (3-4-2-1): Ghidotti; Riccio, Hadzikadunic, A. Ferrari; Depaoli, Abildgaard, Ricci, Ioannou; Barak, Cuni; Coda. Coach: Gregucci-Foti.
Frosinone (4-3-2-1): Palmisani; A. Oyono, Calvani, Monterisi, Bracaglia; Calò, Koutsoupias, Grosso; Ghedjemis, Masciangelo; Raimondo. Coach: Alvini.
