Barcelona-Flick: the coach of the blaugrana talks about the Champions challenge against Inter and the tough schedule at home. His words:

After risking qualification for the Champions League semifinals in the last match against Dortmund, Hansi Flick, former coach of Bayern Munich and now in charge of Barcelona, commented on the great journey of his team, not sparing some jabs at La Liga due to the overly close schedule. Summing up, Flick talks about the clash for a spot in the Champions League final against Inter: “I appreciate the way they play. They are an experienced team, organized in both offensive and defensive phases. They have quality in all areas: excellent attackers, solid defenders… Pavard was my player, I know him well. And they have a great coach, who is doing an excellent job. It will be a very complicated challenge.” – Flick continues talking about the surreal, in his opinion, schedule that awaits Barcelona at home- “I don’t want to complain or make excuses, I’m just making an observation. We don’t play against Valladolid on Sunday at 2:00 PM, but on Saturday at 9:00 PM. Why not at 6:00 PM? I wonder who makes these decisions. It’s almost a joke. If we win, it would also be positive for La Liga: there would be another Spanish team in the Champions League semifinals. But instead, I’m speechless. The situation is surreal. In every other federation, those representing the country in Europe are protected, but not here. Here they say they will return at six in the morning, but they don’t realize what it really means for the players. It’s absurd”.
