I am satisfied with some things. Salvation? It also depends on others…

Inter, Farris’s words
What is one thing you learned from Barcelona and will use on Tuesday?
“That they are strong… But we knew that: the game was prepared for. Then we can discuss whether at some moments we could have bounced back, if we could have limited Lamine Yamal a little more. He had an extraordinary game, but maybe we could have tried to take away some space from him. It is also true that he is skilled at avoiding double teams, however, there is great pride: the dream is to give another satisfaction to our people.”
How are Lautaro and Pavard?
“They are both at risk at the moment. Unfortunately, even though there is no injury, Lautaro has not trained. Today it would be more no than yes, but being an important game, we will try the impossible. Pavard has expressed willingness to try, these are things we will decide just before the game’s warm-up.”

How is the team doing?
“At this stage of the season, the energy expenditure is very high. Morale is important, having shown that we can compete with these teams, and it didn’t just happen with Barcelona, it’s a positive injection. Tonight we needed a confidence boost for those who played less and had a serious game, showing that they would lend a hand on Tuesday.”
Conte said that whoever wins writes history and the others read it…
“I don’t comment on other coaches’ statements, it’s not up to me. Today it’s no longer up to us, our task is to try to win all the games, so we have no regrets if Napoli were to drop points.”
Does it make you angry when someone says it would be a low-profile season even if you win the Champions League?
“I don’t know if anyone has said that, but I would smile. Just look at the list of teams that win the Champions League… I don’t think they have said that, our desire is just to be able to say we had a great season, with the dream of winning a title. It seems absurd now, but we have a better chance in the Champions League. We hope to keep the dream alive.”

Lazio, good news: Rovella shortens recovery time

Good news for the unlucky Lazio of Maurizio Sarri: Nicolò Rovella is recovering optimally from pubalgia – early return anticipated?
The Lazio coach can finally smile. One of his most important players, Rovella, is showing great improvements. The midfielder is recovering from pubalgia by choosing to undergo conservative therapy rather than surgery, which would have kept him out for a longer period. So far, his choice seems to be paying off: his physical condition is significantly improving.

When will Rovella return to Lazio?
If things continue in this way, Nicolò Rovella could return to the field even before the November break. Initially, his reintroduction was scheduled for the middle of next month, but given the improvement in the situation, an early recovery is now likely. Of course, the midfielder will not be available for the match against Juventus in the next Serie A round, but he will be evaluated for the subsequent matches.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
