Hellas Verona, 40 years since that historic Scudetto – Football style

Juventus, the 1-1 draw against Lazio leaves the Bianconeri at the mercy of their own fears. Another missed opportunity to secure fourth place, but what is most worrying is the internal chaos. Suspensions, nervousness, and questionable changes fuel a deep crisis.
It’s not just a point, and it’s not just a draw. The 1-1 result yesterday afternoon against Lazio has left heavy fallout in the Bianconeri environment. Juventus, still formally in the race for a spot in the next Champions League, seems to have lost every technical, tactical, and, above all, identity certainty. And the result against the Biancocelesti risks being the symbol of a season finale that is rapidly slipping into the abyss.
Short standings, but exposed nerves
A victory in Rome would have allowed Juventus to take sole possession of fourth place, distancing themselves by two points from all pursuers. Instead, with the draw, the Bianconeri remain fourth with 64 points, but tied with Lazio and only one point ahead of Roma (63), with one game still to play – Monday night in Bergamo against Atalanta. A match to watch with bated breath, with Juventus fans forced to cheer for Dea to avoid the Roman overtaking.
But beyond the standings, it’s the atmosphere in Turin that is making pulses race. The draw against Lazio has ignited the sparks of discontent that have been evident for weeks. Just think that, in addition to Yildiz’s suspension for violent conduct against Monza, yesterday also saw Kalulu’s suspension, which is just another sign of a collapsing environment.
To fuel the chaos, there was certainly also the technical management of Igor Tudor, whose choices have sparked controversy inside and outside the dressing room. Emblematic, in this sense, were the changes made in the second half: Coinceicao called back to the bench after just 40 minutes of play, and Adzic replaced only 10 minutes after his entry. Two decisions that left players, staff, and fans stunned and, according to many internal sources, further undermined the already fragile balance in the dressing room.

The feeling that emerges is that of a Juventus in disarray, without a plan, without cohesion, lacking a recognized and respected guide. Tudor, who took over with the intention of restoring order and giving an identity to the team, now appears more as an outsider than a leader. His relationship with the squad seems deteriorated, and the impression is that there is a complete lack of mutual respect between coach and players.
Not just Champions… Juventus is losing face
The problem today is not just the risk of failing to qualify for the Champions League, with all the heavy economic and prestige consequences that would entail. The real drama for Juventus is the impression of a team that no longer even respects itself. Nervous players, humiliating changes, a gloomy atmosphere – these are not signs of a great club, and even less of a club like Juventus, which has always been characterized by discipline, pride, and balance.
With two more matchdays to go, the fate is still in the hands of the Bianconeri. But a radical change of course will be needed to save the season and, perhaps, to save credibility of a technical project that today seems already in its terminal phase.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A league against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.”
“The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who must recover from a strain in the muscles of his left thigh, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.”
“Tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd, a new morning training session is scheduled.”

Milan, Pasquale Bruno criticizes Gimenez: “Those who simulate are poor players”

Juventus, a year ago was destined to leave Turin, today is one of Tudor’s certainties. The choice of the management to renew him has become a sign of continuity and trust.
Just a year ago Daniele Rugani seemed to be saying goodbye to Juventus. Like it happened to Huijsen, Soulé and partly to Federico Chiesa, for him too the club had drawn a clear line: those who did not fit into Thiago Motta’s technical plans were invited to find a new placement. But the fate of the Tuscan defender took a different turn.
Despite having a contract expiring eight months from the end of the season, the Juventus management decided to exercise the unilateral renewal clause for another year, a clear sign of trust. Despite everything, Rugani has proven to be a reliable, serious, and professional player, earning a leading role in a team still in search of balance.
Juventus, Tudor’s few certainties
In a complicated moment for the defense and more generally for Igor Tudor’s Juventus, number 24 represents a technical and moral certainty, a symbol of belonging and continuity. The club, which a year ago seemed ready to turn the page, has instead decided to focus on a player who knows the environment, accepts hierarchies, and knows how to be ready when needed.
In short, after almost ten years in black and white, Rugani has returned to being more than just a backup!
