Bologna center-back Beukema, thanks to his performances in these two seasons in the red and blue shirt, has attracted the interest of two big clubs in Serie A.

Bologna is heading towards the end of an incredible season, crowned by winning the Coppa Italia, but now must prepare to defend against attacks in the summer transfer market.

The first player under attack is Dutch center-back Sam Beukema, who has excelled over the past two years wearing the red and blue shirt, both under the management of Thiago Motta and Italiano. Bologna, Beukema is on the radar of Inter and Napoli

Inter, looking ahead to next season, needs to renew a rather “old” defense, with players like Acerbi, De Vrij, or Darmian significantly raising the team’s average age. That’s why they are looking around, and Sam Beukema seems to be a profile that fits the club’s needs and is ready to make the big leap to a different reality.

On the other hand, Napoli appears to be poised to be the king of the transfer market, given the money entering De Laurentiis’ coffers from qualifying for the Champions League and from the sales of Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen, who is expected to arrive in the coming months. The defense is an area the blue club wants to strengthen, and once again, the Bologna center-back tops their wish list. A solid player, with personality, strong in one-on-one situations, and with excellent ball-playing skills.

His market value is estimated to be between 25 and 30 million euros, and we will see if in the coming weeks the two contenders currently vying for the league title will compete to secure the player’s transfer from Bologna.
