Inter, Bastoni’s words
Inter defender, Alessandro Bastoni, spoke to DAZN microphones after the match.
Victory
“It had been a while since we had a victory, we were eager to feel it again. There was that unexpected goal, but we reacted well and I am proud of the team’s spirit.”
Mindset
“We are more free and carefree, we have always been focused: we tried to stay united as we have to do with the new coach.”
Tiredness
“I think it’s inevitable, it has been an exhausting season but we didn’t come here for vacation, we are here to lift the Inter brand high.”
Chivu
“Certainly, the coach has been here for a very short time, we will have time to work with him from next season. At the moment there is no time and so he is working on the minds, he entered the locker room with determination and we are very happy with him.”

Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac has pointed out how the high temperatures recorded at the Club World Cup favor South American teams.
Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac has told the press how the high temperatures recorded in the United States at the Club World Cup favor South American teams, which are more accustomed to these temperatures compared to European teams.

Borussia Dortmund, Kovac complains about high temperatures in this Club World Cup: “Southern clubs have a great advantage due to the conditions, the heat”
We are only in the early stages of this Club World Cup, and there are already complaints about the high temperatures recorded in the stadiums hosting this American event. The coach who complains the most is a coach who trains a European team, from the northern part of the old continent: we are talking about Niko Kovac, coach of Borussia Dortmund, who pointed out how this favors South American teams to the press.
It all stems from the opening match against Fluminense of Thiago Silva, which ended in a draw, with scorching temperatures that the Brazilian club and players are always used to, and here is his statement: “In this tournament, we see that the southern clubs (America, ed.) have a great advantage due to the conditions, the heat”.
Even for the next match against the South Africans of Mamelodi Sundowns, temperatures of around 32°C are expected in Cincinnati, a temperature that is absolutely unbearable for a team from northern Europe: “For the spectators in the stadium, it’s incredibly hot. So you can imagine how difficult it is for the players: it’s 32 degrees in the shade, imagine with strong sun, inside the stadium, you have to add 3, 4 or even 5 degrees”.
However, Kovac is keen to point out that this is not an excuse, but rather an objective fact: “These are not excuses, it’s just an explanation. It’s very difficult, especially for Europeans. For players from the south, it’s easier, because they are used to these temperatures”.
