Manchester City, Wirtz disappears as Gibbs-White becomes the target

Despite the final matchday still to be played, Lazio is already fully immersed in the transfer market. The goal for the next season is to strengthen the wings.
The wings will certainly be revolutionized in the white and sky blue house, especially when considering the moves the club seems to have undertaken in these days. In fact, among the names that Lazio is watching with a certain interest, there would be Nahuel Molina Lucero (currently playing for Atlético Madrid) and very active in the Argentine national team.
In addition to this name, there are two other players who seem to have caught the attention of the sporting director Fabiani: Jackson Tchathcoua and Junior Firpo. The first one wears the colors of Hellas Verona and has shown great potential in the offensive phase with the Scaligers, mainly acting as a midfielder. The second is a defender with great dribbling skills and tremendous speed capable of making incursions from the left wing and currently plays for Leeds United.

Lazio, will there be a revolution on the wings?
Three players who, despite having similar positions, are extremely different from each other. While Jackson Tchathcoua has been a favorite of Claudio Lotito’s club for some time, Firpo is definitely a last-minute addition that seems to be very pleasing due to his technical skills and passing ability on the field.
However, he is a player who has had the opportunity to play for various clubs: from Betis Seville, to Barcelona, and now to Leeds United where he will be free agent – in June – on a free transfer. While Firpo could be a good deal for the left side, a significant investment would be needed for Tchathcoua on the right, and even more so for Molina.
The team of Marco Baroni seems to have a series of very valid options, all on the table and all potentially feasible. However, all three are determined not only by the white and sky blue club and the player’s will, but also by any other proposals from other clubs that could shift the balance in an irreversible way and cause every negotiation to fall through.
For example, Firpo doesn’t seem to be appreciated only by Lotito but also by other clubs like Milan (another competitor in Serie A).
While waiting to see how this season ends, the clubs have officially started what is, effectively, a war to win the best players. And Lazio will certainly not be left behind!
