Cristian Chivu is the new coach

“You will see that Cristian Chivu will do well at Inter,” says Romagnolo entrepreneur Patrick Baldassari, the deus ex machina of Vip Master Tennis and ‘patron’ of Bagni Paparazzi 242 in Milano Marittima. Patrick is a well-known figure in Emilia Romagna and beyond, with significant experiences in TV (including Temptation Island, alongside Valeria Marini). “Has this year’s Scudetto slipped away at the last moment for Inter? I wouldn’t use those terms… Rather than saying it slipped away, I would say that Inter had the ability to stay in the race until the end,” Baldassari continued, interviewed recently at Bagni Paparazzi in Mi.Ma, where the Vip Master Tennis 2025 will be held in the coming weeks.
“Then, of course, in these kinds of competitions, at this level, it’s hard to stay focused until the end. Still regarding Inter, I think Simone Inzaghi’s four years were extraordinary. The public understood it, it was a story that had to come to an end sooner or later. So even if Simone Inzaghi had won the Champions League, he would have left anyway, in my opinion.
“Optimistic about Chivu’s journey… The fact that Simone Inzaghi has gone to the United Arab Emirates, to Al-Hilal, I also think is good for Inter fans who won’t have to face him, maybe on the Juventus bench or on another strong team’s bench. Simone Inzaghi is and will remain great. Great like Inter and like Beppe Marotta. Marotta is really good, and you will see that Cristian Chivu will do well on Inter’s bench.”
“DISAPPOINTED BY LUCIANO SPALLETTI’S ITALY? REGARDING THE 2026 WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION, I THINK…”
A comment couldn’t be missing on the Italian National Team led by Luciano Spalletti (today his last match in charge of the Azzurri), swept aside by Norway 3-0 in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. “You ask me if I’m disappointed by Luciano Spalletti’s Italian National Team, without Francesco Acerbi (seen in past editions at the Vip Master in Milano Marittima) in defense? Come on… It’s not a matter of Acerbi or not Acerbi. To be precise and clear, we should talk about motivations in these cases. When motivations are lacking, everything becomes more difficult…
This is because maybe everything that was supposed to be gained from the league teams was already achieved. Or, at the same time, because you dream of taking a break and then you find yourself facing such important challenges, in front of teams that give their all, like Haaland’s Norway. In these circumstances, you might not have the strong motivation needed to play a delicate and fundamental match in the best possible way.”
SERIE A 2025/2026, PATRICK BALDASSARI’S PREDICTION. “IT WILL BE A GREAT SEASON WITH MAX ALLEGRI, GASPERINI, SARRI…”
“It will be an intense season. You ask me if Milan will win the Scudetto with Max Allegri? I would say that this could add an extra touch of excitement to the championship. Now we have Chivu at Inter, Conte at Napoli, Max Allegri at Milan. Then Gasperini at Roma, Juric at Atalanta, Baroni who did well with Lazio at Torino, Sarri under Lotito… I am convinced that Chivu will have a great journey, and in general, it will be a great season, an exciting and fascinating Serie A 2025/26…” On Vip Master 2025, taking place in early July in Milano Marittima: “It will be a great Serie A 2025/26 but also a great Vip Master 2025 with great guests, as always!”.
“Who will win the 34th edition of the Vip Master tennis tournament? There won’t be a single winner. Everyone wins, the public wins, Milano Marittima wins…,” concludes Patrick, whom we thank as always for the warm welcome and with whom we want to congratulate (as always!) for the fantastic organization of the vip tennis event. So, see you in the heart of Milano Marittima on July 11 and 12, 2025 for the 34th edition of the Vip Master Tennis Mi.Ma.

The young Brazilian talent from Palmeiras Fellipe Jack is now a Como player on a permanent deal, with a contract until 2028.
Fellipe Jack’s Transfer to Como
Fellipe Jack, a young Brazilian football prospect born in 2006, has been officially acquired by Como. The Lombard club has exercised the purchase option from Palmeiras for a fee of 2 million euros. This move marks a significant step in the young player’s career, as he will be tied to Como until 2028. Palmeiras, on the other hand, will retain 30% on a future resale, a strategic decision that could prove profitable if Jack’s talent explodes as expected. Arriving in the January transfer window, Jack has made 7 appearances in Serie A.
Como’s Statement on Jack’s Redemption
Como wasted no time in making the deal with Jack permanent, demonstrating unwavering confidence in the abilities of the young Brazilian. The long-term contract not only provides stability for the player but also gives the club the opportunity to build a competitive team around him. Jack, with his talent and young age, represents an investment for the future that could bring great satisfaction to both the club and the fans. Below is the official statement:
“Como 1907 announces that it has exercised the right of redemption of the player Fellipe Jack with SE Palmeiras. Fellipe, a defender born in 2006, arrived in Como last January on a temporary basis and in a year he has collected 23 appearances, 2 goals, and 1 assist in the Primavera championship.
In the first part of the 24/25 season, the young Brazilian talent made his Serie A debut with the Lariani. He has made four appearances so far in the Italian top league, playing against Fiorentina, Udinese, Atalanta, and Bologna. At the same time, the Italo-Brazilian player signed a contract extension, which will keep him tied to the Lariani until 2028.”

Empoli continues to produce talents: from Ismaël Bennacer to Krisjan Asllani, the Tuscan club confirms itself as one of the best “midfielder schools” in Serie A.
In recent years, Empoli has stood out for its ability to enhance midfielders, turning them into absolute protagonists in Serie A and valuable assets on the market. Among the most representative names are Ismaël Bennacer, who came from Arsenal U23 team for around 1 million euros, and Hamed Junior Traorè, who grew up in the Tuscan youth sector.
The last season was no exception, despite the Tuscan club’s relegation. Antonio Buscè’s work on the Primavera team’s bench contributed to giving new life to the ‘midfielder school’ signed by Empoli, culminating in the victory of the youth league title and the growth of midfielders like Asllani, Ricci, Baldanzi, and Fazzini.

Programming at the core of the Empoli project
With the return to Serie A in the 2021/22 season, it was Samuele Ricci who stood out, attracting the interest of Torino. Despite Ricci’s departure, the Tuscan club was not caught unprepared: they focused on Krisjan Asllani, a midfielder born in 2002 who scored his first Serie A goal against Inter, the team that became his new home a few weeks later.
From Baldanzi to Fazzini
Another talent from Empoli’s youth sector is Tommaso Baldanzi, who after scoring 24 goals in 55 appearances with the Primavera, established himself as a key player in the first team. His successor, Jacopo Fazzini, stood out despite Empoli’s relegation to Serie B, attracting the interest of Fiorentina.
Who will be the next talent launched by Empoli’s ‘midfielder school’? Only time will tell.
