The Monza is increasingly at the center of market negotiations for a change of ownership that sees the farewell of Fininvest, the holding company of the Berlusconi family. But nothing has been decided yet.

Monza, the words of Alessandro Galliani:

“If I have to point out one thing I miss about Silvio Berlusconi, it’s his phone calls that came punctually every night at midnight – Galliani recalls. I am convinced that he would have been happy with my choice.

Returning to Monza, Galliani specifies: “There are negotiations in progress but nothing is defined. Not only have we not reached the closing, but not even the signing. In any case, Fininvest has never failed to provide resources: they have spent 35 million on investments between the sports center and the U-Power Stadium, which was voted the most beautiful in Serie A. Paolo Bianco as the new coach? He has good references, having been Allegri’s assistant at Juve. We will build a team to return to Serie A immediately.”

A joke could not be missed about one of the most successful coaches in Milan’s history, Carlo Ancelotti, now on the Brazil bench: “I would say it is a testament to how Silvio Berlusconi taught his players and coaches to navigate the world.”

Galliani’s thoughts on the current state of Italian football: “The commitments of the clubs have certainly affected the sporting performances. The Azzurri were more tired than the Norwegians. That said, Gravina is not responsible for the results of the national team but has the responsibility for the overall political management. The league? I leave it united and with good relations with the Federation. A month ago, I was at the headquarters on via Rosellini and after pressing the button for the fourth floor, I ended up on the second, the one for Serie B.
