The Palermo has announced that 6 players of the Rosanero team will not take part in the pre-season retreat that will take place in Chatillon in a few days under the orders of coach Filippo Inzaghi. A location that usually hosts many teams, especially in the 90s Juventus, managed by Inzaghi. But already a screening is being made on the squad that the former Pisa coach will rely on during the season, deciding already who does not fit into his plans.

The non-called up players are: Alessio Buttaro, Dimitrios Nikolaou, Valerio Verre, Francesco Di Mariano, Roberto Insigne, and Dario Saric. For them, a special preparation conducted by the Rosanero staff is planned in Torretta, while waiting for a solution to be found for them.

This decision is the first step in already selecting the squad that Inzaghi will have at his disposal, but there could also be further cuts in Chatillon, as the Rosanero coach will assess some players who are on the fence to determine if they fit his plans or if they too will have to leave Sicily for other destinations.
