Inter always keeps an eye on the market and is considering a defensive move. The management wants to seize the best opportunity.

Francesco Acerbi is likely in his final season with Inter. The center-back has made his mark in recent years under Inzaghi’s guidance and has also started off on the right foot with Chivu. However, the former Lazio center-back will turn 38 next February, and Inter needs to find a replacement.

In the summer, a central defender was sought for a long time, but in the end, no one else arrived except Akanji to replace the departure of Pavard. The profile of Giovanni Leoni was considered, but deemed too expensive by the management. There was strong interest in De Winter, but Milan moved first, and an attempt was made for Badè from Sevilla, who, however, preferred Bayer Leverkusen.

The Inter Milan team is always on the lookout for opportunities in the transfer market and is currently exploring options to strengthen their defense.
