Juventus is preparing for another major internal revolution: after changing the coach mid-season and players on the field, it’s now time for another important change regarding the technical director.

Engaged in this difficult task is Damien Comolli, who is ready to choose this fundamental figure who operates behind the scenes of the club. For now, there are no definite names, only a series of rumors, and the management is considering whether or not to focus on an “Italian-made” profile.

In our Serie A Championship, this kind of figure has not often been truly understood, and there are examples in this regard: Cristiano Giuntoli for Luciano Spalletti or Maurizio Micheli for Aurelio De Laurentiis (Napoli), personalities who have proven decisive in various situations.

For now, the names that seem to be in pole position – although they will likely not be the only ones – are: François Modesto (former Monza and Nottingham Forest), Di Marco Ottolini (Genoa), Di Giovanni Rossi (coming from the same role at Olympique Marseille), Roberto Goretti (Fiorentina). A list of names of a certain caliber but, as mentioned before, there could definitely be others in addition.
