Cagliari, Napoli is the gold mine of the rossoblù market

After Caprile and Gaetano, Cagliari is betting heavily on Folorunsho: another deal with Napoli that confirms the strong connection between the two clubs.
According to the latest rumors late yesterday afternoon, Cagliari could close another deal with Napoli between today and tomorrow. The Rossoblu have intensified contacts with the Neapolitan club for Michael Folorunsho and the deal could be finalized in the next few hours.
The exact terms are still unclear, but it is possible that, as was the case with Caprile, it could be a loan with an option to buy. A similar formula to the one Napoli granted to Fiorentina last January, although probably at lower figures than the 8 million agreed with Fiorentina.
Folorunsho would be another “Neapolitan” coup for Cagliari in recent years.

Cagliari, many former Napoli players in the squad
Just look at the current Rossoblu squad to understand how strong the relationship with Napoli has become. Apart from coach Pisacane, a Neapolitan who never played for the Napoli team, there are already Gianluca Gaetano, a key player in the survival of the 2023/24 season and now looking for a revival with Pisacane after a disappointing season with Nicola, and the aforementioned Elia Caprile, considered a real bargain for the Sardinians and already attracting interest from several Italian and foreign teams.
There are also veterans: Leonardo Pavoletti, who arrived from Napoli back in 2017, is still a reference point in the dressing room, while Marko Rog, acquired in 2019, seems destined to leave in the coming weeks.
And then there are those who took a longer path, like Sebastiano Luperto: developed in the Napoli youth system, he made a name for himself in Serie A with Empoli before joining Cagliari last summer.
To be consistent, we must also mention Simone Scuffet, who returned to Rossoblu after spending the last six months on loan in Campania.
And who knows, Folorunsho and another young Napoli player could soon join them. Cagliari’s interest in young Giuseppe Ambrosino remains strong, although Cremonese seems to be in the lead. A resurgence in the coming days is not out of the question.
Cagliari-Napoli, a growing direct connection.

Bayern Munich, Eberl’s Words
The future of Michael Olise
The sporting director of Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, confirmed the absence of a release clause in Michael Olise’s contract. The young talent, whose contract is valid until June 2029, is set to become one of the best players in the world according to statements made to “11 Freunde DE”. This strengthens the position of the German club, which aims to build a solid and competitive team around Olise.
Bayern’s Strategy
The absence of a release clause means that Bayern Munich has complete control over Michael Olise’s future. This represents a strategic advantage for the club, which does not have to fear irresistible offers from other teams. Furthermore, the fact that Olise’s contract is valid until 2029 guarantees stability and continuity to the project, allowing the player to grow and mature in the ideal context of the Bundesliga.
