A Premier team on Gyokeres
Views: 10
For the north London team, Arsenal, the signing of the Swedish boy seemed to be a done deal, but another English team does not seem to agree.
One thing is certain: Viktor Gyokeres will not remain at Sporting Lisbon. The decision not to attend the team’s training in Lisbon seems to be a strong signal to try to pressure the management.

Arsenal: Is Gyokeres Moving Away?
If it were a music track, we would now be talking about a summer hit. However, the Gyokeres deal, even though not being a song, is indeed a football hit. At the moment, it seems that Sporting does not want to let him go. Even though there is a supposed gentlemen’s agreement that the management had with the 27-year-old player. All this seemed to facilitate the departure of the Swede. Instead, no.
So much so that the Cannibal did not appreciate this behavior and started to skip training sessions. Yet it seemed that Arsenal had managed to get everyone on the same page. The agreement on €63.5 million plus €10 million in bonuses seemed to be the solution to the puzzle.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Manchester United has forcefully entered the picture. The Red Devils can rely on the one who has valued the Swede the most, namely Ruben Amorim.
Now, as reported by the English tabloid, the two teams (United and Sporting) are very close to finalizing Gyokeres’ transfer for a figure around €70 million, bonuses included.
We will see, if it goes through, whether Arsenal will report what could be a significant theft.

Inter, treasure trove set aside for a big defensive move
Inter Eyeing Upamecano, Kim, and Guehi for Defensive Reinforcements
Visualizzazioni: 33
The Inter Milan team is always on the lookout for opportunities in the transfer market and is currently exploring options to strengthen their defense. With Francesco Acerbi likely entering his final season with the club, the management is keen on finding a suitable replacement for the veteran center-back.
During the summer transfer window, the club pursued several defensive targets but failed to secure any signings apart from Akanji. Players like Giovanni Leoni and De Winter were considered, but deals did not materialize. As a result, Inter has decided to be patient and make a strategic acquisition rather than rushing into a transfer.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio and technical director Baccin are actively scouting for potential targets, with three names standing out in particular: Dayot Upamecano, Kim, and Marc Guehi.
Upamecano, currently at Bayern Munich, has a contract expiring in 2026. Despite his good relationship with the club, negotiations for a contract extension have not yet begun, prompting Inter to inquire about the French defender.
Kim Min-jae, another player of interest, has struggled to secure a regular spot at Bayern and might be looking for new opportunities. Although he is not a free agent, his price tag of around 30 million makes him a valuable investment.
Lastly, Marc Guehi, who will be leaving Crystal Palace at the end of the season, is also on Inter’s radar. The English center-back had come close to a move to Liverpool last summer but now remains open to offers from other leagues, including Serie A.
As Inter continues its search for defensive reinforcements, these three players have emerged as potential targets to bolster the team’s backline.
