Torino seeks agreement for Simeone but now Liga appears

Torino is looking for a replacement for Zapata and has considered Simeone, but the agreement is becoming more challenging due to the involvement of other teams

Napoli is already thinking about a post-Simeone era, but to date, the path to the Argentine forward seems very uncertain. This is because the center of the discussion is Giovanni and not Diego, the coach of Atlético Madrid.

It seems that De Laurentiis no longer feels the need to keep the Buenos Aires striker in the team and has therefore thought of selling him.

Initially, the most enticing proposal seemed to be from Pisa, but now things seem to have changed, and a third Piedmontese club has intervened.

The agreement between the two clubs and the two presidents remains strong because, among other things, another piece would need to be added: the transfer of Lucca to Napoli, which could allow for preferential treatment and a discounted transfer fee.

Indeed, Lorenzo Lucca was developed in the youth teams of Toro (2019/20) and then played for a series of teams such as Vicenza, Palermo, Pisa, Ajax, Udinese, and now Napoli.

However, there is still a high level of attention on the Argentine forward from both his father Diego and his aunt (one of the player’s advisors), who seem to be considering an exit from the Serie A Championship and possibly leaving Italy for the Liga (in Spain), which is showing a strong interest.

Meanwhile, on the field, Torino coach Baroni is trying to find the right strategy and is experimenting with both the 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-2-1 formations; after all, his squad is still a mystery!
