Napoli, on the hunt for a right winger: negotiations stalled for Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla, turning to the Premier League, targeting Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal
Napoli, following the arrival of Gutierrez from Girona and the departure of Raspadori to Atletico Madrid, to complete the squad for Antonio Conte in their bid to repeat last year’s success, only lacks a right winger: they still have their sights set on Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla, but negotiations are at a standstill as an agreement has not been reached. So, Napoli has decided to look to other leagues, such as the Premier League, to find what they need from surplus players, with Sporting Director Manna eyeing the name of Oleksandr Zinchenko, a right winger from Arsenal.
Ukrainian but native Russian, Zinchenko developed in Shakhtar Donetsk and Ufa, making his debut in the Russian league. Later, he moved to the Netherlands to play for PSV, where he made 17 appearances before joining Manchester City in the Premier League after just one year, where he accumulated 76 appearances over 5 years, winning 4 Premier League titles, 4 League Cups, an FA Cup, and a Community Shield. Finally, 3 years ago, he joined Arsenal, where he has made 69 appearances and scored two goals.
A promising profile that would be very beneficial for Napoli. Arsenal values him at 10 million pounds, but the deal is feasible since his contract expires in a year. We will see if there are further developments in the coming days.

Inter, treasure trove set aside for a big defensive move
Inter Eyeing Upamecano, Kim, and Guehi for Defensive Reinforcements
Visualizzazioni: 33
The Inter Milan team is always on the lookout for opportunities in the transfer market and is currently exploring options to strengthen their defense. With Francesco Acerbi likely entering his final season with the club, the management is keen on finding a suitable replacement for the veteran center-back.
During the summer transfer window, the club pursued several defensive targets but failed to secure any signings apart from Akanji. Players like Giovanni Leoni and De Winter were considered, but deals did not materialize. As a result, Inter has decided to be patient and make a strategic acquisition rather than rushing into a transfer.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio and technical director Baccin are actively scouting for potential targets, with three names standing out in particular: Dayot Upamecano, Kim, and Marc Guehi.
Upamecano, currently at Bayern Munich, has a contract expiring in 2026. Despite his good relationship with the club, negotiations for a contract extension have not yet begun, prompting Inter to inquire about the French defender.
Kim Min-jae, another player of interest, has struggled to secure a regular spot at Bayern and might be looking for new opportunities. Although he is not a free agent, his price tag of around 30 million makes him a valuable investment.
Lastly, Marc Guehi, who will be leaving Crystal Palace at the end of the season, is also on Inter’s radar. The English center-back had come close to a move to Liverpool last summer but now remains open to offers from other leagues, including Serie A.
As Inter continues its search for defensive reinforcements, these three players have emerged as potential targets to bolster the team’s backline.
