The Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso started the season rather lackluster. With Udinese, he found his first assist and seems to be in clear growth
Among the many negative aspects of the start of the Juventus season, there is certainly also the performance of one of the most talented players: Andrea Cambiaso. In Tudor’s football idea, he seemed the ideal profile to cover the wing in the characteristic 3-4-2-1 formation of the coach, but for one reason or another, expectations were not met.
In the first match against Parma, the Italian national was involved in a foolish incident that cost him a red card. In the following appearances, he never made a mark: a poor contribution to the offensive play and a not exceptional defensive phase.
However, in the match against Udinese, the former Genoa player showed clear signs of recovery, so much so that he also got his first seasonal assist, crowned by Gatti’s header.
What can Cambiaso bring to Spalletti’s Juventus
With the arrival of the new coach to the Juventus bench, the use of Cambiaso will inevitably change. Spalletti is used to playing with a back four, where the full-back will move into the defensive line.

Although he will cover a position further from the offensive zone on paper, his contribution to the play will not change much. With a full-back more locked on the opposite flank, such as Kalulu for example, he can still showcase his qualities in the opponent’s final third.
Spalletti’s game is very much linked to ball possession and passing in the middle of the field, and players like Cambiaso are ideal for his football idea. We will see if under the new management, the Italian full-back will return to performing at his best, which hasn’t been seen for some time now.

Inter’s former coach speaks out on Sucic: “He will become a pillar and then go to Real Madrid”

Former coach of Petar Sucic, Sergej Jakirovic, has made some important statements about the midfielder of Inter, who is also his protege.
Sucic is gradually getting used to Italian football, and is showing glimpses of great potential. His goal against Fiorentina is a true gem and confirms a growth process that the young man is going through.
If in Italy we are discovering his talent game after game, in Croatia they are already sure that he is a future champion. Since Sucic arrived at Inter, statements of esteem, trust, and encouragement have always come from his country, and even Sergej Jakirovic, his former coach, has expressed his opinion on him. The coach, bluntly, highlighted the qualities of the young man, predicting his future years.
Inter, the words of Sergej Jakirovic
“Honestly, I expected it, he has a particular work attitude. In fact, I expect Petar to become a pillar of Inter in 1-2 years. And then he will go to Real Madrid just like it happened with Kovacic”.

If Spalletti did his part, what would Vlahovic be willing to do?
The arrival of Luciano Spalletti at Juventus could lead to a series of changes in the team, but, above all, a revaluation of the attackers.
Juventus could step up – with Spalletti’s style – and reevaluate certain players like Dusan Vlahovic, who may consider adjusting his salary in exchange for an upgrade in attack.
Every coach has their own peculiarities and Spalletti has the merit of having done very well with attackers in his coaching career. Of course, there have also been negative aspects, like the rather conflictual relationship with Francesco Totti, but – precisely Totti – was the most performing attacker he had.
Let’s take a look at the names of the strikers who have excelled in the coaching career of the Certaldo-born coach (a town near Florence). We have:
1) Francesco Totti, 100 goals in 190 appearances
2) Aleksandr Kerzhakov, 59 goals in 135 appearances
3) Victor Osimhen, 49 goals in 71 appearances
4) Mauro Icardi, 46 goals in 73 appearances…
With this attitude towards attackers, even Dusan Vlahovic’s role could change.

What could happen for Dusan at Juventus?
The Serbian had not hidden his desire to earn more money; currently, the 25-year-old has a contract of 8 million euros as a base salary and will receive a good bonus of another 4 million euros for loyalty.
If, not too long ago, it seemed that Dusan’s fate was tied to a departure; now, with Spalletti, there could be a reconsideration and he might stay. After all, the Serbian attacker wants to prove that he can continue to perform well and has never hidden his desire to stay at Juventus. However, certain conditions must be met, and among these is certainly the offensive nature of the coach.
Spalletti himself said, at his first press conference as Juventus coach, that: “I will talk with him and I have not received any kind of imposition from the club”.
The Serbian also clearly expressed that the responsibility for how things have gone at Juventus cannot be solely attributed to the coach and called for the goodwill of everyone on the field.
