Inter – Reduced playing time and strong market rumors for Davide Frattesi, but Pedullà slows down: “Selling him now would be football suicide”

The Frattesi case continues to make headlines at Inter. The midfielder, limited by playing time with Chivu, is back at the center of market rumors despite the significant investment made by the club and the high expectations that accompanied his arrival.

Alfredo Pedullà clarified the situation, stating on his YouTube channel that Frattesi’s name often comes up as a possible departure during different transfer windows, but never materializes into an actual negotiation. The club’s estimated value — not less than 50 million — confirms Inter’s confidence in the player and the difficulty of orchestrating a deal of this magnitude.

Inter, even if they were to… would it really be worth letting Frattesi go?

The journalist, however, urges caution. Selling Frattesi to a direct rival would be, in his opinion, a “football suicide”, as it would mean strengthening a competitor while the Nerazzurri are engaged on multiple fronts and need a deep and competitive squad.

Concrete offers could come, given the esteem in which the midfielder is held, but Pedullà advises to be cautious about too easy associations. Even if Inter were to consider a sale, the possibility of him ending up at a top Italian club seems extremely remote.

The feeling is that the Frattesi dossier will remain open for a long time: the player could carve out more space during the season, changing the scenarios once again and making his departure an increasingly unlikely option.
