This is Monopoly, not soccer – Calcio style
Uli Hoeness, honorary president of Bayern Munich, reveals behind-the-scenes details about the possible acquisition of Nicolas Jackson, criticizing the extravagant spending in the Premier League.
Uli Hoeness, a member of the board of Bayern Munich, recently gave an interview to Sport-1, addressing various topics related to the transfer market. Among them, he discussed the issue of Nicolas Jackson, stating: “The player and his agents contributed 3 million euros, so we paid 13.5 million for the loan. There will be no permanent purchase. This would only happen if he played 40 games as a starter, which will not happen.”
Hoeness also expressed his satisfaction with the summer transfer market, stating: “We are very satisfied, we are the true winners of the summer window. We have a strong team, we did not need to strengthen it further. We would have liked to sign Wirtz, but we would never have paid 150 million for him. What Newcastle did has nothing to do with football, at most with Monopoly.”
The honorary president of Bayern announced that in winter, Bayern will have three players available, defining them as “new signings”: “Do not forget that in January we will have ‘new signings’ returning, such as Musiala, Davies, and Ito.”
“Goodbye to sporting director Eberl? It’s just speculation”
Responding to rumors about the departure of sporting director Eberl, Uli Hoeness stated: “They are rumors, speculation. The board has no problem with Eberl. If he thinks of resigning, you should ask him. I feel that all the components of the club work together. And there are no signings by Eberl, Hoeness, or Rummenigge. They are all Bayern signings.”
He also commented on the dismissal of Erik ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen: “In the summer, they changed half the team, I must say I am surprised to see the coach sacked after two matches. They should have considered it better.”

Inter, Acerbi close to leaving at the end of the season
Views: 41
After several years wearing the Nerazzurri shirt, Acerbi is evaluating different options for the end of the season, and is considering leaving Inter.
Inter is currently gaining momentum in the league, especially in the Champions League after their recent victory of 0-4 against Union San Gilloise. Despite a less than enthusiastic start with 2 losses against Udinese and Juventus, Christian Chivu‘s Nerazzurri have found their footing and seem to be back on track from last year.
It’s too early to talk about the title race, but the upcoming match against Napoli this weekend can already tell us a lot about their ability to win big matches. Last year ended in a 1-1 draw with Napoli who went on to win the title at the end of the season.
Currently, however, the best path is being taken by the Milanese team, as Antonio Conte will come into this match with 2 consecutive losses against Torino and Psv.
The coach of Inter is calm, confident in the project, and very sure of himself and his available players. Speaking of the latter aspect, there is a key player over the past year who is currently considering leaving Inter at the end of the season.
Acerbi, from Champions League goal to farewells
We are talking about Francesco Acerbi, an important pillar of the Nerazzurri, the one who managed to score the goal for 3-3 against Barcelona and take Inzaghi’s men to extra time. After many years in Milan, according to Fabrizio Romano, the defender would like to leave the city, and it is not excluded that he may also decide to hang up his boots considering his age, born in ’88.

So far with the club, he has made 128 appearances with 5 goals and 5 assists, winning a Serie A title, a Coppa Italia, and two Italian Super Cups under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi. A pretty impressive resume with a European champion title won in 2021 with the Italian national team jersey.
Now the player’s focus is on the upcoming big match against Napoli and less on the future, with the determination and desire to return to the field to fight in every game and expand his personal record.
