Torino-Napoli is a match that counts as the seventh game of the championship. It will take place on October 18th, at 6:00 PM, at the Olimpico Grande Torino stadium

Torino-Napoli is a match that showcases two teams with very different technical values. Despite the more than positive additions of the Granata, the situation in the championship is far from rosy.

While the Napoli team seeks to extend their lead over Roma of Gasperini, with whom they are currently sharing the top of the standings.

Torino Overview

The team of Baroni will face a very tough opponent, it is the Napoli of Antonio Conte.

Unfortunately, the current situation of the Granata sees them only in sixteenth place in the standings with only one game won and a total of only 5 points.

A situation that needs to be significantly changed if they want to continue their adventure in Serie A, but important changes are needed: both in defense and in attack, they need to work hard because the Napoli attack will try to break through and then, the really sore point here, improve the attack which – as of today – shows only 5 goals scored.

Napoli Overview

The team of the Pugliese coach, on the other hand, is in search of points and this match must be overcome smoothly. In fact, to try to leave Roma behind, three precious points are needed.

On the other hand, Conte will not have Rrahmani and Lobotka available, while Politano and Buongiorno should at least be on the bench. Another problem is Milinkov-Savic with a back injury and following these injuries, the coach Conte had to opt for a change in formation.

An excellent performance is needed because Roma could stumble due to the direct clash with the pursuer Inter.

Probable Lineups for Torino-Napoli

Torino (4-3-2-1): Israel, Coco, Maripan, Lazaro, Pedersen, Tameze, Casadei, Asllani, Ngonge, Vlasic, Simeone. Coach: Baroni

Napoli (4-1-4-1): Meret, Olivera, Beukema, Juan Jesus, Di Lorenzo, Gilmour, Neres, Anguissa, De Bruyne, McTominay, Hojlund. Coach: Conte.

Where to Watch Torino-Napoli

The Torino-Napoli match will be played at 6:00 PM tomorrow, Saturday, October 18th, and will be visible on DAZN.

1-1 draw between Cremonese and Udinese, last match of the seventh round. Terracciano’s goal in the first half was answered by Zaniolo’s first goal in the league.

Ending the seventh round of Serie A is CremoneseUdinese, Monday’s late match. A clash between two teams that have started well in the league but have not found a win in several rounds.

Both coaches focus on quality: Nicola fields Vandeputte and the attacking duo of Bonazzoli-Vardy, with the Englishman making his debut as a starter, while Runjaić responds with Atta and Ekkelenkamp in midfield, Karlstrom in playmaking role, and Zaniolo up front alongside Bayo.

Cremonese-Udinese, first half in grigiorosse colors

The start favors the home team, who unlock the score at the 4th minute with Terracciano’s header from Vandeputte’s free-kick. The goal energizes Cremonese, who dominate the first half thanks to the intensity of Bondo and the creativity of Vandeputte in midfield.

The grigiorossi come close to doubling their lead, first with Zerbin and then with Vandeputte and Bonazzoli, who hits the crossbar at the 31st minute. Udinese, on the other hand, struggles to react and ends the first half in difficulty, saved only by the opponents’ inaccuracies.

Zaniolo answers back and Vardy comes close to the winning goal

In the second half, the game changes. Runjaić’s team comes back with a completely different attitude and immediately finds the equalizer in the 51st minute: Bayo sets up Zanoli on the right, perfect cross and winning header by Zaniolo, scoring his first goal in Udinese colors.

The Friulians gain confidence and force Cremonese to sit back, but in the 60th minute it’s Nicola’s team that comes very close to taking the lead again: Vardy makes a run behind the defense and tries a chip shot, but Okoye doesn’t let it in.

In the final stages, opportunities abound for both sides: Piotrowski and Atta try for Udinese, then Vázquez hits the post with a free-kick in the 79th minute.

In the 91st minute, the last great chance is for the grigiorossi: Sarmiento takes advantage of a glaring mistake by Solet, who has had an off day, and sets up Vardy, who frees himself from a defender in the box and shoots practically assuredly but finds the decisive deflection from Kabasele, tonight the best in the Udinese defense.

The match ends 1-1, a result that satisfies neither of the two teams. Cremonese lament missed opportunities, while Udinese can only take solace in their second-half reaction and Zaniolo’s excellent performance.

Serie A, weekend plagued by goal drought: negative record within reach

The 7th round of Serie A risks being remembered in history for having the lowest number of goals. There is still one match that could prevent this.

Four nil-nil draws and a maximum of three goals in a single match have characterized this round of Serie A. Little spectacle and little effectiveness, only the talents of the moment have shone.

Serie A, the latest negative record and what must happen in Cremonese-Udinese

Only nine goals in nine matches, this is the data that has surprised everyone among fans and insiders regarding the seventh round of Serie A. Four matches without goals and many teams struggling to find a way to score for several weeks.

Abroad, it is said that Serie A is the most boring championship in terms of pure entertainment, and unfortunately, this stereotype has been confirmed this past weekend.

The only hope to avoid setting a negative record and beat those belonging to the days: 9th of the 2010-2011 season, 32nd of the 2017-2018 season, and 2nd of the 2022-23 season with a total of 13 goals, is that the last match on the schedule, namely Cremonese-Udinese, records at least 4 goals to at least equal the previous negative record.

Juventus has announced the renewal of Daniele Rugani’s contract until 2028. The defender, whose contract was expiring next June, will remain in Turin for two more seasons.

An important renewal has arrived at Juventus. The Bianconeri club has announced the extension of Daniele Rugani’s contract on their official profiles. The defender, who began his football career at Empoli, arrived in Turin in 2012 and has decided to further bind himself to Juve until June 30, 2028. Given playing time by Tudor in the last 2 matches due to Bremer’s injury, Rugani represents a guarantee for the Bianconeri defense. Below is the club’s statement.

“The story together continues: Daniele Rugani renews his contract with Juventus until June 30, 2028, further binding his future and career to the Bianconeri colors. A shared journey that began in 2012, when just of legal age, Daniele first entered the gates of Vinovo to wear the Juventus jersey, starting his path with the Primavera team. From then on, a constant growth, in a continuous process of maturation that has led him to be the man, the professional, and the player he is today.”

Among the currently rostered players, Rugani is the one who has won the most matches in Serie A (90) and in all competitions (111) with the Juventus jersey. Experience and availability that never wane from a player who has always been able to show up when needed, representing a defensive guarantee and also capable of achieving some satisfaction on the offensive end – scoring 11 goals in his 152 total appearances with Juventus. A story of victories and trophies, but also of the ability to bounce back after going through difficult times. A story that will continue, until 2028, together”.
