Genoa, November 1, 2025 – Genoa CFC announces that Diego Lopez, born in 1989, with a professional background built as sports director, head of scouting and observer in sports clubs such as Monaco, Lille, Excelsior Mouscron, Bordeaux, and Lens, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Chief of Football.

“We trust in his human and professional qualities,” declare Genoa’s President Dan Sucu and CEO Andrés Blázquez, “to boost strategies in the sports area and optimize operational plans, in line with his vision and skills, both in the short and long term. We welcome Diego Lopez and wish him good luck in his work.”
