Inter and Juventus target a talent from Udinese
Views: 26
The Serie A 2025/2026 season is shaping up to be one of the most balanced in recent years: after ten matchdays, four teams are vying for the top spot.
The Serie A 2025/2026 standings, after 10 matchdays, seem to be taken out of a movie starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd: “Trading Places”. In fact, Napoli (22 points), Inter (21 points), Milan (21 points), and Roma (21 points) are separated by just two points, creating one of the most evenly contested starts to a season in a long time. A similar scenario has not been seen since 1994/1995, the year when the three-point system for a win was introduced.
Taking a wider view, we find the top seven teams within five points, reaching as far down as Como with 17 points. The 1993/1994 season was won by Fabio Capello’s Milan, who overcame Juventus to claim their 14th title in history, and the third consecutive one. Could this be a sign for Max Allegri and his team?

Matchday 11 fixtures in Serie A
With four teams within three points and only one matchday before the third international break. After the 11th matchday of Serie A, the league will pause again before resuming on the weekend of November 22/23. Among the most interesting matches, Parma, led by Carlos Cuesta, will host Milan, Bologna welcomes Napoli, Roma faces Udinese at the Olimpico, and Inter takes on Lazio at the San Siro. We can only wait to see how the teams will fare before the break.
We are witnessing one of the most balanced seasons in a very, very long time.
