Bad news from the infirmary for Lecce and coach Gotti. The giallorosso club will have to do without Pierret for some time.

Lecce loses Balthazar Pierret. The French midfielder had to leave the field early in the final moments of the match away to Bologna, which they lost 1-0. The conditions of the 2000-born player turned out to be quite serious after undergoing the necessary instrumental tests.

These tests revealed a second-degree injury to the long adductor of the right thigh, which will keep the player away from the field for some time. In fact, it is highly likely that the Frenchman will not be available to coach Gotti until the second half of December.

ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s note from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays expected by the end of 2026.

The Club can only express dissatisfaction and surprise given the willingness it has always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September of this year.

Further and possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will have to be re-evaluated.

There is still immense regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with the previous interlocutors, which President Commisso wanted to finance in 2019 but then had to realize that it was never allowed.

The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that arise, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
