Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano has released statements in a press conference ahead of the match against Juventus.
The former coach of Spezia and Fiorentina and current coach of Bologna Vincenzo Italiano has released statements in a press conference ahead of the match against Juventus, scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 6:00 pm at the Allianz Stadium.
Bologna, Italiano’s words

Below are the statements made by Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano in a press conference ahead of the match against Juventus:
Tomorrow is Juventus, is it a test for the big teams? Do you need continuity of results against top teams?
“We have discussed with the boys that we need to change gear and mentality against the so-called big teams, even in the Champions League we did not perform, we only did it with the draw against Atalanta.
We need to change gear against the teams ahead of us, teams of value. We need to be ready immediately, it will be a tough and hard game, they have pace, legs, and physical strength, we should be ready in every aspect.”
We should have avoided comparisons with last year, the data says the journey is identical so far. How are you living this comparison?
“Honestly, I don’t like to make comparisons, I don’t like it, last year was an incredible journey, every week and every game going over a situation that will never be the same.
Since I arrived, our way is very, very similar, then let’s stop there. Many important players are no longer here, we started a conversation with many new young players, for me we need to stop.
Then in the end, if there is a loser it’s me. We work to continue with these numbers, but to continue like this every week, I’m not liking it.
We need to have the hunger to climb towards those ahead of us, a very difficult game tomorrow, I have always had a lot of difficulties at the Stadium.
What does Juventus mean to you? If you win tomorrow, you will become San Vincenzo…
“And if I lose? (laughs). Juventus is always Juventus, and since they play at the Stadium, it’s even more complicated. Today’s Juventus is very strong, we will have to be very strong in duels, when they have the ball they can put us in great difficulty,
tomorrow we will see, every game is a test, a battle, and tomorrow we must focus on staying close to those ahead of us.”
Other than Orsolini, who else is missing?
“I’m very sorry for Orso’s absence, stopping his continuity of goals, I hope to have him back as soon as possible, to come back with his head. Lykogiannis will be missing, we have other situations to evaluate tomorrow morning.
Result of many close games, despite the rest days after the matches. We evaluate tomorrow also in view of the next ones.”
Dallinga?
“Out against Monza due to discomfort in the calf, today he trained, he seems much better, he no longer feels the discomfort, tomorrow he will be available.”
You will meet Valhovic again
“I met a superstar in those six months when I met him, a guy who with great hunger in Florence allowed him to score goals before my arrival and with me, I will gladly hug him tomorrow.”
Did you expect this maturity from Castro?
“Beautiful surprise, he had already impressed me in training, also hungry and always focused, for me young players must understand that training allows them to bring back to the field everything they do in the weekly hours, in the growth during training.
He still has to miss a training session. He has an obsession, a hunger that if he maintains it can become a very important player.”
What aspect of Freuler surprises you the most?
“I often talk to him about how he recovers from fatigue, incredible that he shows up the day after the matches and says he’s fine, but the kilometers and the effort he puts into every game speak, blessed him lucky us.
I congratulate him, I hope he continues like this, taking care of these details so well.”
Moment of responsibility for the other wingers with Orsolini’s absence? Is Odgaard on the wing still a solution?
“I am very happy with how Dominguez and Iling interpreted the game in the Cup, those who start and those who come in must have this kind of mentality, I think it helped us to overcome this not simple round, congratulations to both.
They need to grow in terms of scoring and assisting, it must be a pleasure to make teammates score, everyone benefits from it.
We must not stop, the more we have the desire to score and win as a team, the more we prepare for important matches in a few hours.
Odgaard for now remains in that area of the field, in the attacking midfield, I see him comfortable in that position on the field.”
How do you evaluate the whistles for Motta?
“It also happened to me in the past, I can say they are unfair but I stop here, everyone goes their own way. The Thiago environment and company together have done something incredible.”
Bologna team that recovers more balls forward, Juventus is 18th in this. Do you think you will continue like this with Juventus being strong in building from the back?
“We talked about it this morning, an evident aspect of Juventus. It is an important fact for us, it is giving us some satisfaction.
Facing a very strong team in building, we must face it with the maximum ability to dirty every ball, using our head not as it happened with Roma, where Pobega made me angry but he tried to go for a forward contrast.
That’s what we are looking for, tomorrow we will have to be good in individual duels, being careful in our recovery.”

Milan-Pisa: Possible Line-ups and Where to Watch

AC Milan vs. Pisa will open matchday eight of Serie A. The San Siro match will take place tomorrow evening at 8:45 PM.
Matchday eight of Serie A kicks off, with the clash between AC Milan and Pisa headlining the fixtures.
The Rossoneri are top of the table with 16 points, while the Tuscan Nerazzurri are at the bottom with just three points.
It’s a classic top-bottom showdown, with two teams motivated by very different factors.
After a hectic European week, AC Milan restart their league campaign at home.
Following the victory over Fiorentina, Allegri’s men are looking for another win to temporarily extend their lead at the top.
The keyword, however, is humility, considering an opponent significantly inferior to the Rossoneri, but equally determined.
The Tuscan coach may give De Winter a starting spot in defense.
The same fate seems to await Ricci, who is likely to start in midfield alongside Fofana and Modric.
Finally, the attack will be led by Gimenez, with Leao supporting the Mexican.
Pisa’s Lineup
The Pisa team’s position is cause for concern, with just three points from the first seven games.
This poor performance reflects their last-place standing, highlighted by a 0-0 draw in the last round against Hellas Verona.
The offensive struggles of the Tuscans are evident, but Alberto Gilardino remains confident and sticks with Nzola up front.
The former Spezia player will be partnered in attack by Moreo, while the midfield likely to face San Siro will consist of Akinsanmiro, Marin, and Aebischer, with Toure and Leris on the flanks.
In goal, Semper retains his spot, supported by a defense of Canestrelli, Albiol, and Caracciolo.
Possible Lineups
AC Milan (3-5-2): Maignan; De Winter, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Ricci, Bartesaghi; Leao, Gimenez. Coach: Massimiliano Allegri
Pisa (3-5-1-1): Semper; Canestrelli, Albiol, Caracciolo; Tourè, Akinsamiro, Aebischer, Marin, Leris; Moreo; Nzola. Coach: Alberto Gilardino

Parma, something still isn’t right: Tardini the only certainty
The Parma is preparing for the home match against Como scheduled for Saturday at 3 PM. After the draw at Marassi, doubts have emerged about referees and motivations.
The controversies following the expulsion of Ndiaye, which heavily influenced the match against Genoa, have almost justified the performance of Cuesta’s men. Despite the incident, the team’s reaction was not seen, and in the end, they almost suffered a defeat.
Parma, lacking continuity: the next opponent is Como
Six points in 7 games and several relegation clashes already closed, this is the start of the season for the Crociati team that came out unscathed at Marassi despite almost an hour with one man down. In the end, Suzuki’s saved penalty was a reflection of the decidedly below-par performance of Pellegrino and his teammates.
It is true that such a delicate away game requires a defensive attitude, especially with one man down, however, Ndiaye’s expulsion came in the 42nd minute (surrounded by heated debates on the severity of the foul that led to the first yellow for the yellow-blue defender) and until that moment, Parma had not shown a great performance. The home team had already taken control from the start, and the statistics after the first 45 minutes, including total shots (7), possession (56% vs 44%), and expected goals (0.39 vs 0.05), showed that the match was already an uphill battle.
It is known that Genoa at home is a beast and gives very little space to opponents, especially in a relegation clash, and a countermeasure in this sense had not yet been revealed. Cuesta then had to completely change the lineup in the second half with the exit of Almqvist, one of the main offensive threats, and the entry of Ordonez.
A team lacking energy
The second 45 minutes saw the Grifone attack with all their energies to find a goal that would have been worth its weight in gold. Instead, a great Suzuki prevented Ekhator and his teammates from taking home the 3 points. The defeat against Lecce seems to have suddenly extinguished the fire that was lit by the victory against Torino a few weeks ago.
The opportunity to redeem themselves is just around the corner, and against Como, it will be mandatory to take advantage of the Tardini factor, which was decisive in terms of points against Atalanta and the Granata. Pellegrino must find the joy of scoring, as well as Cutrone, but the rest of the team is also called upon to show their desire for victory. Bernabé continues to show great plays but still lacks effectiveness in the final third, as do Almqvist and Britscghi.

Cremona, undefeated against the other small teams: the Nicola effect
