How did you see the match?
“The performance of the boys is positive, we knew who we were facing and all the analyses are relative to the opponent. The attitude was positive, with the desire to do what we usually do. In the situations of the first half, we could have been a bit luckier, but this match is a new step for my boys”.

You performed well against all the big teams, who do you think is the favorite to win the championship?
“They are all teams that play in a different league from ours. We faced Napoli at the beginning of the season, but I put them all on the same level regardless of the current standings. I wouldn’t underestimate Lazio either”.

Was the game plan different today?
“We tried to contain them, then we found ourselves chasing, showing our flank. However, I still give a positive evaluation, an Inter team with strong mental and physical energies was difficult to contain”.

Coulibaly out and the four attackers lined up, how do you judge the choices?
“I have to take into account the condition of all the players, especially against Dimarco who always creates imbalances, I would say they did well. Regarding high balls, Inter is one of the strongest teams and I don’t think there were any particular difficulties. Coulibaly? A tactical choice”.

Compared to other smaller teams, Parma gives a different impression, always wanting to play.
“There is much to discuss, my relationship with my boys has lasted for many years, since they were young. I have great confidence in them and from there we develop a fairly clear and defined playing idea”.

What is the most difficult thing in preparing a match against Inter?
“They have great game organization, compliments to Simone: they have many solutions, they can attack you in width or through the middle. We could have hurt them, maybe less frenzy in verticalization would have been better”.

You didn’t fall apart even being three goals down. How did you come to this awareness?
“It’s the maturity that the team needs to achieve, it’s the reason why there are so many positive things. Inter has scored many goals against everyone, it’s a defeat but every match is different. For me, it’s work, there are many games left for our goal and we work on this aspect”.

Is Estevez always a tactical choice? These three matches have seen a growing Parma.
“Well, they were three matches against three big teams. The positive aspect is that we scored in all of them, which is not easy: the mentality is there and we need to insist, continue working, and always face the matches with enthusiasm and the desire to play football, focusing on playing football. Estevez was fine, it’s a tactical choice based on technical evaluations. It wasn’t an exclusion”.
