Former player and coach Fabrizio Romondini spoke on TMW Radio. When asked about last night’s Europa League match of Roma away to Porto, he gave his opinion.

“I was surprised by the choice not to play Hummels and Paredes, they were not called up to Venice to rest and then they did not play. I am surprised by the performances of players like Dovbyk and Pellegrini, who disappointed.

Plus, a goal is conceded from a goal kick, we need to analyze that there was not even preventive coverage. I talk about the referee if he disallows two regular goals and does not give me four clear penalties, otherwise I talk about the game. We can discuss the possible red card for the foul on Dybala, but for me, it’s a yellow. What surprises me is that the football performance of the team is not being analyzed.”

How much has Dybala given to Roma?
“I believe he has given a lot to Roma, then surely he can give even more. A single player cannot do everything, he needs support from his teammates. It’s them who are doing less, he needs help from others to emerge even more.”

Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool will face off tomorrow night at the Deutsche Bank Park for the 3rd matchday of the Champions League League Phase.

The 3rd matchday of the Champions League sees Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool facing each other. A match that promises excitement, especially considering the great offensive capabilities of the home team. Six goals scored and conceded by the team coached by Dino Toppmoller in the first two European games of the season, resulting in two 5-1 results: the home win against Galatasaray, and the defeat suffered against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.

On the other side, there are the Reds, who are going through a very negative period. Counting all competitions, Arne Slot’s team is coming off four consecutive defeats, including the one suffered in the Champions League against Galatasaray.
