Arrigo Sacchi, former coach of Milan, spoke about the possible scenarios in the Serie A title race after Inter’s victory over Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium.
The victory of Inter over Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium has positioned Inzaghi’s team as the number 1 contender for the Scudetto. Especially considering the step back of Napoli under Conte against Venezia.

Sacchi’s Words
About the journey of the Nerazzurri in the league, following this victory against Gian Piero Gasperini’s Dea, Arrigo Sacchi also shared his thoughts.
The former coach of the National team and Milan commented in the Gazzetta dello Sport: “It seemed to me like a duel between top-level boxers: one throws a punch, the other dodges and counterattacks courageously. Battles in every area of the field: fights to regain possession, sprints along the wings, good game plans when it came to constructing a more elaborate play. In short, everything a football enthusiast wants to see when going to the stadium or sitting in front of the TV to watch a match. All in all, I believe Inter’s success is deserved: they did more in the offensive zone, were more dangerous than Atalanta, and proved to be superior.”
Regarding the Bergamo team and their coach, he continued: “From Gasperini’s team, I admit, I expected more: the spark that we have seen and admired so many times in recent years was missing.”
The 78-year-old from Fusignano then mentioned Antonio Conte’s Napoli: “Winning at Atalanta’s home is a significant show of strength, especially as it sent Bergamo six points behind. And Napoli, stopped at a draw in Venice, is now three points behind.”
Inter’s Challenges
All perfect intersections for the Scudetto puzzle, getting closer and closer for Inter, but Sacchi doesn’t take it for granted: “I don’t want to say that Inzaghi’s team has an easy path, especially because they have many commitments, and especially those in the Champions League are dangerous and drain physical and mental energies. However, it must be admitted that the acceleration of Lautaro and his teammates is crucial because they leave their opponents behind, who now have the task of absorbing the blow and getting back in the race.”
And he concluded about the Champions League: “In my opinion, only international matches can stop Inter, but if Inzaghi (and I have no doubt about it) manages to manage the strengths of his players well, I believe the Nerazzurri can reach the end with arms raised.”

“The red and blue team of coach Pisacane took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the muscles of his left thigh, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”

Milan, Pasquale Bruno criticizes Gimenez: “Those who simulate are poor players”

Gimenez, Conceicao, Saelemaekers e Ricci spesso in area simulano” x.com/NicoSchira/status/1980604955258941881
