Genoa, the Captain’s Heartfelt Farewell

Genoa and Milan Badelj part ways: the Croatian midfielder bids farewell to the Rossoblu environment through the club’s official channels.
After 5 seasons, Badelj’s adventure with Genoa comes to an end. The Rossoblu captain has made 155 appearances, scoring 7 goals with the Grifone.
A long, passionate, and emotional farewell from the ’89 class player who has also worn the shirts of Fiorentina and Lazio in Italy. Here is his message:
Thank you Genoa.
We have taken the time to get to know each other, we have seen each other in good times as well as in bad times. My impression is that we have always loved each other. And I will never be indifferent to the word Genoa, when I think of our colors. I will carry all the moments spent at the stadium within me and thank you for an unforgettable support. I have felt privileged and will always be grateful to you.
I would also like to thank our group, the entire Genoa world, all the presidents, directors, coaches, teammates, medical staff, physiotherapists, trainers, team managers, and warehouse workers, along with all the other people who do their best to take care of us.
This is from Milan Badelj the player.
From Milan Badelj the father, I say “Thank you Genoa”.
Thank you because in the end, it is the memories that bind us and we have many memories. One of them goes back to the home game against Ascoli, when my son was in the stands and my wife was at the Gaslini Hospital with my daughter. Everything turned out well. Another memory goes to the first day of school, the first kicks at Polis, his first time at the stadium. First steps, first smiles…here in Genoa, there have been many first times for our children and for us young parents. This bond will remain, it will not go away, and as time passes, it becomes stronger, more important, almost tangible. We thank Dr. Allodi, Dr. Emanuele from Gaslini Hospital, thanks to Mister Davide and thanks to all the people at Asilo Aquilone and ISG school.
Forever yours, Erika, Jona, Tina, and Milan.

Lazio, good news: Rovella shortens recovery time

Good news for the unlucky Lazio of Maurizio Sarri: Nicolò Rovella is recovering optimally from pubalgia – early return anticipated?
The Lazio coach can finally smile. One of his most important players, Rovella, is showing great improvements. The midfielder is recovering from pubalgia by choosing to undergo conservative therapy rather than surgery, which would have kept him out for a longer period. So far, his choice seems to be paying off: his physical condition is significantly improving.

When will Rovella return to Lazio?
If things continue in this way, Nicolò Rovella could return to the field even before the November break. Initially, his reintroduction was scheduled for the middle of next month, but given the improvement in the situation, an early recovery is now likely. Of course, the midfielder will not be available for the match against Juventus in the next Serie A round, but he will be evaluated for the subsequent matches.

No good news for Cagliari of Pisacane, who is coming off a home defeat against Bologna: injury for a defender.
The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. The Colombian suffered an injury in the match against Bologna in the last round and is now working separately to recover. His condition will be evaluated ahead of the next league match.

“Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
