Fiorentina and Milan are both trying to sign one of the most significant players in Italian football. Both teams are focusing on his goal-scoring abilities
Ciro Immobile could be returning to Italy! The talented Campanian player could potentially join an Italian club. Currently, it seems that Fiorentina and Milan are in competition, as they have been trying to contact the player who is currently with Besiktas.

Ciro Immobile has won the Golden Boot, European Champion with the National Team, and … now maybe Fiorentina or Milan!
If we rewind the history and look at the career of the player from Torre Annunziata (born in 1990), we see that he has had a successful career in both Serie A and Serie B. Immobile, in fact, is currently the first Italian player to win the top scorer title four times consecutively between Serie B and Serie A.
He achieved this in the 2011/12 season (in Serie B) and the 2013/14 season (in Serie A), and continued to score and top the charts during his time with Lazio (2017/18, 2019/20, 2021/2022).
This alone would be enough to remember what a great player Ciro Immobile is, but his achievements continue with another year as top scorer, this time in the UEFA Europa League (in 2017/18), as well as becoming the all-time top scorer for the Biancocelesti club.
Immobile could potentially return to Italy, and the two teams trying to sign the Campanian talent are indeed Fiorentina and Milan. The player’s agent, Sommella, has reportedly been seen with both the Viola and Rossoneri management, sparking rumors about the player and the clubs.
This potential return is also facilitated by the fact that the player is currently under contract with Besiktas after arriving on a free transfer from Lazio. This demonstrates that his experience has not overshadowed his class and goal-scoring ability: in 41 appearances, he has scored an impressive 19 goals for the Turkish team.
Fiorentina is also interested in Immobile to fill the gap that will be left by Kean’s departure, as the Viola club is looking for an experienced player with a winning touch. Even Lazio seems to have entered the picture to try to bring back their prodigal son, but the potential issue here could be the financial aspect, which might be a bit out of reach for the Biancocelesti.
