Inter, Bonny could already leave for the Club World Cup

Inter is in the United States participating in the Club World Cup. Meanwhile, the transfer market continues and the acquisition of Bonny seems to be a done deal.

Inter is currently competing in the Club World Cup but is also negotiating to finalize another market move that would bring Ange-Yoan Bonny to play for the team. The French player, born in 2003, is currently under contract with Parma and has had the opportunity to meet and appreciate Cristian Chivu (the new coach of the Lombard club).

Chivu, during his time at Parma, was able to appreciate the technical qualities of the young player, and it is likely that it was a proposal presented by the new coach to the management. It is not known who came up with this idea, but it seems to be finalizing because both the Inter management and the player seem to be willing to say yes.

From an agreement standpoint, it seems that a figure has been reached that could satisfy both Inter and Parma: around 22/23 million (originally starting from 25 million) where the Nerazzurri club would like to try to lower the amount to be paid, perhaps by focusing on the counterpart of Sebastiano Esposito. The young and talented Esposito would be valued at around 6 to 7 million.

Inter

Inter is in great need of attackers for the Club World Cup

It really seems that the acquisition of Bonny’s contract is about to be finalized, and he is already ready to leave for the United States to meet his new coach and team. Because Inter is involved in the Club World Cup, it is quite clear that the team needs attackers.

Inter, in fact, is experiencing an emergency situation due to Thuram’s injury and Mehdi Taremi’s inability to participate in the tournament as he is stuck in Iran due to the conflict. According to the Club World Cup regulations, the Nerazzurri team can make a maximum of 6 changes to the squad between June 27 and July 3. In this scenario, there could be a switch between Esposito (still on Inter’s list) and Bonny.

Certainly, Inter must consider that it is crucial to remain competitive in the tournament, and their start has not been the best: in fact, the draw against Monterrey is not helping the Nerazzurri team in the standings. Therefore, the goal at the moment is to win and progress to the next round, and then, who knows, maybe have the reinforcement of some new signings who could start in such a prestigious showcase.

Above all, what everyone is waiting for is to see if this agreement (which seems to be almost finalized) will bring Bonny to play again with the coach who has always fielded him and with whom (ironically) he scored one of his goals against Inter last April 5.
