The agreement: 70 vehicles and a shared vision
If there’s one thing Inter has learned to do in recent years, it’s to rethink itself. Yes, even off the field, in the way of communicating, growing, and choosing the right partners. The latest turn, almost literally, is towards sustainable mobility. After saying goodbye to Volvo, the Nerazzurri club has officially announced a new partnership. The Chinese giant BYD will be the new Global Automotive Partner of the club, with a three-year agreement valid until 2028.
The choice is part of a broader strategy of internationalization and innovative positioning of the Inter brand. BYD (acronym for “Build Your Dreams”), a global leader in electric vehicles and green mobility solutions, has identified the Nerazzurri as the ideal partner to strengthen its presence in Europe. And it has decided to do so with a collaboration of visibility, activations, and real vehicles.
In detail, the partnership involves the supply of approximately 70 electric and plug-in vehicles. These will be made available to top management, technical staff, and players of the first team. Not only that, the club will receive an exclusive version of the new BYD Sealion 7, the flagship electric model of the brand, which will then be marketed in a limited edition to the general public.

Statements
“Inter has a vast fan base worldwide, which represents a natural affinity with the brands of our group, BYD and DENZA,” said Stella Li, Executive Vice President of the Chinese group. “We are inspired by the passion and driven by a spirit of innovation: this partnership is an important step in shaping a shared vision.”
Also confirming the common orientation is Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer of Inter. Ricci reaffirms how the agreement “unites two global brands united by the constant push towards the future and the pursuit of excellence.” And he does not hide the pride of being chosen as the first football club to collaborate with BYD. All this, as evidence of a continuously growing international appeal. “This partnership represents an opportunity for development, but also a fertile ground for the creation of content and projects capable of engaging fans and consumers on a global scale.”
Inter: bridge between football and sustainability
The agreement with Inter is not an isolated case but is part of BYD’s broader sports visibility strategy. The company was among the official sponsors of UEFA Euro 2024 and the European Under-21 Championships. Now, it aims to enter the European premium automotive market with the launch of the DENZA brand. And the alliance with an internationally profiled club like Inter is the ideal vehicle, it is safe to say, to accelerate the process.
In the coming weeks, the partnership will also come to life for the fans, with the launch of programs dedicated to the purchase and rental of vehicles reserved specifically for the Nerazzurri fans. A way to bring sustainability into the daily life of the supporters. And certainly the right way to transform sponsorship into an active, lived, and accessible relationship.

Milan, good news from Nkunku: the Frenchman returns to the group

Fiorentina, Franchi Stadium: The Club’s Statement
ACF Fiorentina, in response to today’s statement from the Municipality of Florence regarding the Franchi Stadium, clarifies that the Municipality has provided information in recent days regarding the progress of the works and the delays that are already expected by the end of 2026.
The Club can only express discontent and surprise considering the cooperation always shown, such as leaving the stadium free from the end of May to mid-September this year.
Further possible activities for the second part of the works have also been outlined, which at the moment could still involve several months away from the Franchi. Scenarios that can only generate concern and disappointment. In light of the latest information provided, as already communicated to the Municipality, the conditions for any involvement of Fiorentina in the project will need to be re-evaluated.
There is still great regret for not having been able to complete the New Franchi with previous interlocutors, which in 2019, President Commisso wanted to realize at his own expense, only to realize that this was never allowed.
The Franchi Stadium, already a construction site since February 2024, will remain so with all the economic and sporting difficulties that follow, certainly throughout the 2026/27 season, the year of the centenary.
