Renewal for Growing Together

The agreement: 70 vehicles and a shared vision
If there is one thing that Inter has learned to do in recent years, it is to rethink itself. Yes, even outside the field, in the way of communicating, growing, choosing the right partners. The latest turn, almost literally, is towards sustainable mobility. After saying goodbye to Volvo, the Nerazzurri club has officially announced a new partnership. The Chinese giant BYD will be the new Global Automotive Partner of the club, with a three-year agreement valid until 2028.
The choice is part of a broader strategy of internationalization and innovative positioning of the brand Inter. BYD (acronym for “Build Your Dreams”), a global leader in electric vehicles and green mobility solutions, has identified the Nerazzurri as the ideal partner to strengthen its presence in Europe. And it has decided to do so with a collaboration based on visibility, activations, and real vehicles.
Specifically, the partnership involves the supply of approximately 70 electric and plug-in vehicles. These will be made available to top management, technical staff, and players of the first team. Not only that. The club will receive an exclusive version of the new BYD Sealion 7, the flagship electric model of the brand, which will then be marketed in a limited edition for the general public.

The statements
“Inter has a large fan base around the world, which represents a natural affinity with the brands of our group, BYD and DENZA”, said Stella Li, Executive Vice President of the Chinese group. “We are inspired by the passion and driven by a spirit of innovation: this partnership is an important step in shaping a shared vision”.
Confirming the common orientation is also Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer of Inter. Ricci reiterates that the agreement “unites two global brands united by a constant push towards the future and the pursuit of excellence”. And he does not hide the pride in being chosen as the first football club to collaborate with BYD. All of this is evidence of a growing international appeal. “This partnership represents an opportunity for development, but also a fertile ground for the creation of content and projects capable of engaging fans and consumers on a global scale”.
Inter: bridge between football and sustainability
The agreement with Inter is not an isolated case but is part of BYD’s broader sports visibility strategy. The company was among the official sponsors of UEFA Euro 2024 and the Under21 Euros. Now, it aims to make its entry into the European premium automotive market with the launch of the DENZA brand. And the alliance with an internationally profiled club like Inter is the ideal vehicle, so to speak, to accelerate the process.
In the coming weeks, the partnership will also come to life for the fans, with the launch of programs dedicated to the purchase and rental of vehicles reserved specifically for the Nerazzurri fans. A way to bring sustainability into the everyday life of supporters. And certainly the right way to transform a sponsorship into an active, lived, and accessible relationship.

Alberto Gilardino on the eve of Pisa-Milan: “Pride and humility to challenge the top of the class at San Siro. Allegri has given identity and strength to Milan.”
Tomorrow at 20:45 the match between Pisa and Milan will kick off, valid for the eighth round of the Serie A 2025/2026.
In this regard, the coach of the Tuscan team, Alberto Gilardino, who after 34 years will return to challenge Milan at San Siro, participated in the usual press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match.
Here are his words:
About the match his Pisa must play
“To take the field tomorrow night at San Siro, we will naturally need sporting happiness but also great pride in being able to play against the top of the class, to play in that stadium as a newly promoted team. We are well aware of the pitfalls of the game and the strength of Milan. We will need great humility in defense, sacrifice from everyone, but awareness and personality when we have the ball.”
About Milan
“We will have responsibility on the field, great personality with the ball, and great sacrifice in defense. Nothing is impossible in football. We know who we are playing against, we know the strength, skill, and technical qualities of the team we are facing, but at the same time we must try to play on every field trying to take the points. This is essential to me in the context of a season and the preparation of match weeks.”
About Allegri
“Milan is a team that has regained great defensive compactness, the credit goes to coach Allegri. He has given a solid mentality by enhancing the qualities of the individuals, he has individuals who make a difference, in technical quality, speed, and physicality, but being able to give such a mentality so quickly was a great merit of the coach. Mister Allegri is a reference point, he is a very prepared coach, who has coached top clubs, he is a winning coach who has managed to immediately give an identity to this Milan, it was his strength.”
About his years at Milan
“Milan was an important part of my career and my life, where I experienced beautiful moments with that team and with coach Ancelotti with whom we won everything. It is a beautiful and exciting memory of those seasons and of my growth in those years after Parma. It is normal to find him again as a coach, against, it has a particular effect, but it is always a pleasure to return to that stadium, for me one of the most beautiful in the world, and it always has a certain effect.”
