Calha and Mkhitaryan examples, Chivu complete. My strength? Serenity.

Sommer, in an interview, talks about his calm approach to football and playing with his feet. He praises Chivu as a complete coach, energetic, and with a great mindset.
Sommer: this is how I see football
The first Match Day Programme of the Nerazzurri season is signed by Yann Sommer. Who, on the eve of Inter–Torino at San Siro, shared his vision of football. He also revealed interesting details about his own journey and relationship with coach Cristian Chivu.
The Swiss goalkeeper, now a pillar of the team, places two key concepts at the center of his role. “On the field, tranquility and clarity are fundamental, especially to handle pressure.” This is not a casual statement. Sommer is one of those goalkeepers who not only exude confidence between the posts but also in building from the back. That’s why he emphasized on playing with his feet: “I have always worked hard on this aspect since my youth. It’s an element that I consider essential, and I have been fortunate to find coaches who have helped me develop it.”
From Inter, Sommer would gladly borrow some qualities: “The shot of Calhanoglu and the mentality of Mkhitaryan .” A testament to how even an experienced leader can recognize and appreciate the strengths of his teammates.

And about Chivu..
In the ‘coach chapter,’ the words for Cristian Chivu are of great esteem. “He is a complete coach, you can see it from how he lives the field and manages situations. He is calm but at the same time attentive, with mindset and energy.” An important endorsement from a player who has worked with internationally renowned coaches.
There is also space for a fun anecdote about his nickname. As a child, he was simply “Yann,” but in Basel, the Argentine players in the locker room started calling him “Verano,” the Spanish translation of “Summer,” his surname in English. Today, that nickname is even engraved on his gloves.
Finally, Sommer’s Nerazzurri dream couldn’t exclude the legends. Julio Cesar, Toldo, and Ronaldo are the three names chosen to make up the goalkeeper’s “ideal Inter.” A blend of glorious past and today’s team, where Sommer brings experience, calmness, and modern technical quality that makes a difference.

The Sardinians are preparing for the next league challenge against Hellas Verona. However, the coach must deal with physical problems affecting a key player for him: Yerry Mina. “Coach Pisacane’s red and blue team took to the field this afternoon at the CRAI Sport Center for the resumption of training: thus began the week that will lead Cagliari to the match of the 8th round of the Serie A championship against Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday, October 26.
The first part of the session was dedicated to ball possession exercises, followed by a series of small-sided games. To finish, an aerobic workout. Yerry Mina, who needs to recover from a strain in the left thigh flexors, worked individually, along with Alessandro Di Pardo, Marko Rog, Nicola Pintus, and Boris Radunovic.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22, a new training session is scheduled for the morning.”
